Trump Wallops His Own Alma Mater With Wild $175M Funding Cut

Trump Wallops His Own Alma Mater With Wild $175M Funding Cut

If four words could summarize President Donald Trump’s public service to date, they may well include the following: Promises made, promises kept.

And one of the most significant promises of all includes the protection of real female athletes.

In particular those whose lifetime of work has been threatened by overly hormone transgender “women.”

“President Trump has promised to protect female athletes. He has threatened to rip federal funding away from any university that defies his executive order banning biological males from infiltrating women’s sports. And he is doing it,” the White House proclaimed in an official X account.

Is he ever.

As reported by the Daily Mail, not even the president’s own alma mater is safe.

Indeed, Trump cut $175M in funding to the University of Pennsylvania, otherwise known as the Ivy League institution in which Trump previously received his MBA.

However, as Trump received his MBA in 1966, it is likely that the Ivy League university may have been a real school back then … or at least not a school that openly embraced men as women.

Including the infamous swimmer who shattered all previous records, alongside the lifelong dreams of real female swimmers.

One such swimmer includes Riley Gaines, who is clearly thrilled with the University of Pennsylvania finally facing justice for its anti-female behavior.

In fact, Gaines praised the White House’s decision to yank funding as “serendipitous,” as the public announcement aligned with the three-year anniversary of her defeat at the hands of “Lia Thomas.”

In addition to Gaines, swimmers Grace Estabrook, Margot Kaczorowski and Ellen Holmquist issued a joint statement to Fox News through the Independent Council for Women’s Sports (ICONS), making it quite clear that they are pleased with the White House’s decision.

“We are so glad that Universities are beginning to see that there is a cost to openly harming female students on their campuses and we hope the pressure only increases,” the swimmers wrote.

Indeed. In particular for universities that receive federal funding.

“Penn and other universities within the NCAA, under NCAA policy and their own rogue leadership, have violated federal law and hurt women. They have knowingly stolen opportunities and awards from women, placed women in physical danger, and facilitated the sexual harassment of female student athletes,” the swimmers continued.

All of which are egregious violations of Title IX … and precisely why the funding cuts are well-justified.

“Every woman on a college campus and under NCAA regulations should be assured of Title IX protections. Institutions that disregard the well-being of women have to understand they don’t get to rewrite or ignore federal protections that women rely on,” the swimmers remarked pointedly.

Absolutely. Way to call out universities for their decidedly non-inclusive behavior in this regard.

On its part, the University of Pennsylvania insists that it has not received any formal notification from the Trump administration about funding cuts.

However, like many other ultra-woke institutions that have a penchant for tolerating – if not apparently encouraging – antisemitism and other asinine ideologies, the Ivy League institute is likely to wake up at some point, sooner or later.

Especially when that $175M stops trickling in, further exacerbating the university’s ability to continue peddling and practicing transgender militancy.

Now that’s a real victory for Title IX, not to mention a real victory for real women.
