Trump Leaves “Crooked” Comey Sweating With Sly Public Commentary

More than one former high-level official in the federal government is likely sweating now … especially if they have any links to the Russia-Trump collusion political controversy that has been whipped up by the media for years.

Now, however, it would appear that the tables have turned.

As recently reported in varied media outlets, former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director are now under investigation for their apparent role in disseminating disinformation regarding Russia-Trump collusion.

And President Donald Trump has now weighed in.

According to an article in the New York Post, Trump’s response has been favorable, though not overly lengthy.

“Well, I know nothing about it, other than what I read today, but I will tell you, I think they’re very dishonest people. I think they’re crooked as hell, and maybe they have to pay a price for that,” Trump asserted.

That’s definitely been a consistent perspective for Trump.

And the president does not appear disturbed by the possibility that the men could be in truly serious legal trouble.

“I believe they are truly bad people and dishonest people. So whatever happens, happens,” Trump added.

Naturally, more than one leftist media outlet is rather displeased by the investigative course of events.

In particular MSNBC, long known for espousing rather radical views.

Grimly arguing that the investigation “goes deeper than political revenge,” MSNBC proceeded to make a series of arguments that would also apply to the previous Biden-Harris administration.

Just consider the following excerpt from a recently published opinion piece:

“But no matter what the president believes, federal law enforcement isn’t meant to serve as a vehicle for political retribution. Any attempt to use it as such is at odds with how democracy ought to work. Even if these investigations don’t go anywhere, their very existence still tells a political story that Trump is keen to peddle to his base.”

Interesting assessment.

Especially given that Trump himself was arguably the target of “political retribution” … which occurred at such a significant level that he acquired more support from multiple Hispanic and Black voters relative to recent Republic presidents that preceded him.

On top of that, it would appear that any investigation is currently in its earliest stages, as Brennan has recently insisted that he has had “no contact” with federal officials.

“If there is an investigation, presumably, if there is an investigation, that people will be questioned, I would be questioned about it. But again, I’ve had no contact from them,” Brennan declared.

Curiously, that declaration occurred during a recent appearance on none other than MSNBC.
