Stop the presses! The Democrats have just demanded a massive expansion of law enforcement nationwide!
…Except this demand has nothing to do with protecting American taxpayers and everything to do with themselves.
That’s right, the “Defund Police” party, which has treated law enforcement abysmally for well over 15 months, apparently feels threatened by the American public.
Apparently, these threats are so grave that the Capitol Hill Police must not only be physically restricted to Washington D.C., but they must also now open up offices in other states in order to combat the apparent “threats” that incredibly ineffective Congressional representatives receive.
As if the massively militarized inauguration of the supposedly most popular president in recent American history wasn’t enough of a show of authoritarian force.
Truly, an expansion of Capitol Hill Police well beyond the bounds of D.C. really gives insight into just how much federal overreach, not to mention intimidation, has increased since Biden took office.
However, according to the Capitol Hill Police, it’s apparently necessary for their presence to be expanded literally from coast to coast, given that they intend to open up offices in Florida and California … and that’s just the start, judging from their own statement.
“The new USCP field offices will be in the Tampa and San Francisco areas. At this time, Florida and California are where the majority of our potential threats are … The field offices will be the first for the Department. A regional approach to investigating and prosecuting threats against Members is important, so we will be working closely with the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in those locations. More field offices will be opening in the future.” [Source: Fox News]

And one can only imagine how much the taxpayers will be footing the bill for additional law enforcement protection for representatives that don’t even bother to represent them.
In other words, the Dems have absolutely zero qualms about slashing funding to the police to such an extent that homicides, assaults, and other violent crimes have skyrocketed across the nation, but when they face supposed “threats,” the first thing they do is demand a nationwide expansion of law enforcement purely to protect themselves.
When it comes to the Democrats, some things truly are stranger than fiction, and unfortunately for American Patriots, the stranger things tend to be largely unwelcome news.
For instance, apparently the expanded Capitol Hill police presence comes complete with additional equipment to help defend Congressional representatives, which is rather ludicrous when the LAPD, NYPD, and other major police departments were effectively told to stand down during mass riots that unfolded across leftist lands all throughout last summer (not to mention well into this year in some cases).
“The Department has acquired additional helmets, shields and less-than-lethal munitions, and has ordered more batons … Through a loan from the Department of Defense, the USCP will have access to state-of-the-art campus surveillance technology, which will enhance the ability to detect and monitor threat activity.” [Source: United States Capitol Police]
“Ordered more batons?” Really?!
Well, that’s nice, especially considering that police were disabled from using batons in more than one leftist city.
For instance, in Detroit, “Judge” Laurie Michelson ordered police not to use batons against violent rioters because it constituted “excessive force.”
Meanwhile, for Congressional tax leeches, more batons are ordered.
Of course, the expanded Capitol Hill Police present must come with additional training, and guess which gem is part of the new-and-upcoming training sessions for these individuals?
“The Civil Disturbance Unit has increased training, to include joint training with the National Guard, riot training, shoot/don’t shoot scenarios, and less-than-lethal exercises. The Department is also increasing its use of force, tactical, equipment, leadership, and incident command training.” [Source: United States Capitol Police]
Wow.
So, first off, apparently “shoot” scenarios just might be ok after all, provided that it is Congressional representatives receiving such protection.
Kind of like how a homeless man was arrested for hurling a water bottle at “Governor” Gavin Newsom of California, and that was likely the first arrest made of any homeless person that entire year in the state, particularly given that brazen shoplifting (by the literal cartful) is apparently now acceptable in San Francisco.
Second of all, the Capitol Hill Police are now increasing their use of force?
Well, that runs totally contrary to literally everything the Democrats have been bloviating about for months.
Why don’t they just have civilian volunteers “physically intervene” for them instead, as suggested by “Defund Police” De Blasio’s taxpayer revenue grubbing wife?
After all, that approach is working out so well in New York City …
