Something suggests that the Biden administration’s latest strategy for illegal immigrants is hardly what President Woodrow Wilson had in mind when he signed the National Park Service Act, which created today’s modern day national park system.
As declared directly by the act itself, the primary objective is to conserve the United States’ natural scenery, ensuring that it can be enjoyed by numerous generations.
“The Service thus established shall promote and regulate the use of the Federal areas known as national parks, monuments and reservations … by such means and measures as conform to the fundamental purpose of the said parks, monuments and reservations, which purpose is to conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wild life therein and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations,” the 1916 Act states.
Needless to say, it is a tad ironic that the same administration pushing a so-called “New Green Deal” is the same administration that is apparently destroying “the fundamental purpose” of the national parks.
Specifically by turning certain national parks into effective shelters for illegal immigrants.
Yes, that’s right – the White House is actually using national parks to now house illegal immigrants, per an exclusive report from Fox News.
“Despite concerns with the legality of housing people on national park land, the Biden administration ultimately moved forward with using national park land to establish a migrant housing encampment,” Republican Representatives Westerman and Gosar noted.
Republicans had previously, and unsuccessfully, attempted to block the Biden administration from taking over national parks for illegal migrants, a move that the Democrats predictably opposed. “Strongly” opposed, actually.
“The Administration opposes this legislation because it would significantly restrict the ability of the Department of the Interior and the Department of Agriculture to make decisions regarding the appropriate uses of their lands and resources, even in emergency or other situations,” the White House sniffed.
Is that so? So, allowing illegal migrants, including who knows how many thousands of cartel members, to abuse national parks is considered “an appropriate use” of land?
Considering how many illegal immigrants have completely trashed the luxury hotels in which they have been housed for “free” (i.e., with American taxpayer dollars), it safe to say that the Biden administration’s latest deranged move is one that is certainly not going to leave parks “unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations.”
Heck, there won’t even be any future generations at this rate, given that the nation will eventually burst at the seams from totally unrestricted illegal immigration.
Which is precisely why Beijing invested in “the Big Guy.”
