“Trump installs another loyalist who won’t say no to any immoral or unethical act.”
Looks like Democrat Senator Adam Schiff might want to rethink his ill-informed commentary regarding Dan Bongino.
Especially as Bongino appears to be the individual who is the most in favor of releasing any additional information on Jeffrey Epstein that the government currently declines to provide.
President Donald Trump appointed Bongino to serve as the Director of the FBI shortly after his inauguration, and, rather predictably, Bongino promptly found himself to be the target of several different critics.
Schiff, for instance, also blasted Bongino as someone who would apparently “degrade” law enforcement … a rather hilarious insult, considering that the Democrats are the ones well known for their little “defund police” initiatives.
That said, despite all the insults and attacks Bongino has incurred, it is rather clear that he has been consistent in following through on his promises.
And one of those promises is greater transparency to the American public regarding the various misdeeds of Epstein and his associates … in particular associates that have direct power over the federal government, military, and other entities that can impact Americans.
Bongino made that promise quite clear on one of his podcasts in which he queried, “What the h— are they hiding with Jeffrey Epstein?”
Now that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has shockingly released a rather abrupt memo that effectively declared that no other information regarding Epstein would be forthcoming, Bongino is apparently up in arms.
So up in arms, in fact, that he is reportedly threatening to resign if Attorney General Pam Bondi does not resign.
“Bongino is out of control furious … This destroyed his career. He’s threatening to quit and torch Pam unless she’s fired,” an FBI source revealed.
Apparently, Bongino was initially aligned with Bondi, until the public criticism mounted and the inconsistencies in the DOJ story became apparent.
One of which includes the fact that no one signed the memo that emerged, leading many to wonder who actually agreed with its contents.
Another criticism includes the fact that the released video – which allegedly “proves” that Epstein committed suicide – was apparently edited, or “modified,” per varied professional technicians.
It does not help that tech titan Elon Musk had accused Trump of his direct involvement with Epstein shortly before the memo’s release.
In essence, the widespread rumors regarding Bongino’s potential resignation are a deeper reflection of the growing schism amongst MAGA regarding Epstein, with some media outlets noting a full blown “calamity” amongst Trump supporters.
Trump himself has tried to quell rumors, especially through defending both Bondi and Bongino simultaneously.
Naturally, the media was also criticized at the same time.
“We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein. For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again,” Trump declared.
Trump also note that Bongino was “terrific” and Bondi was doing “a great job.”
However, Bongino himself has yet to issue any public remarks at the time of this writing, leading many to wonder if he may indeed imminently resign.
If so, that will deepen chasms amongst conservatives and provide even more space for Democrats to take …
If Musk’s reported “America Party” does not do so first.
