Gotta hand it to today’s Democrats, who are quite consistent in their utterly tone-deaf, utterly ignorant proposals.
And while quite a bit of ignorance, not to mention arrogance, has emerged in recent weeks, perhaps one of the more ridiculous policies includes the Dems’ determination to demand a so-called “Code of Ethics” for the Supreme Court.
That’s right: Dems, in all their non-existent wisdom, are making every effort to destroy checks and balances, chiefly through attempting to impose so-called congressional will on the Supreme Court.
Not only is the proposal absurdly vague and downright moronic, but it also flies in the face of any constitutional reality.
Though, to be fair, most Dems don’t appear to have a clue about the contents of the Constitution, in particular the Soros-backed installments in Congress.
Which is precisely why Justice Samuel Alito issued a searing rebuke during a Wall Street Journal interview regarding the absurdity of the proposed policy, noting that it was completely devoid of constitutional justification.
“I know this is a controversial view, but I’m willing to say it. No provision in the Constitution gives them the authority to regulate the Supreme Court – period,” Alito declared.
How low governance has sunk when a Supreme Court justice has to point out that it is now apparently “controversial” to adhere to the Constitution.
Noting that most justices, unlike whiny snowflake Dems, prefer to avoid public drama, Alito also added that such an outrageous proposal, in which the unethical Congress would allegedly regulate the ethics of the Supreme Court, warranted a response.
“At a certain point I’ve said to myself, nobody else is going to do this, so I have to defend myself,” Alito added coolly.
Of course, clueless Representative Adam Schiff, best known for his own deeply unethical promotion of total disinformation regarding Russian collusion, responded angrily to Alito’s reference to reality.
“Let’s translate these statements from Justice Alito, real quick: What we do and how we do it, who pays for our trips and our vacations, or a family member’s tuition, is none of your damn business … So buzz off. They need an enforceable code of ethics. Now,” Schiff sniffed.
That’s funny.
Considering that “buzz off” has been Biden’s apparent response to “who pays” for Hunter’s prostitutes, drugs, and other shady dealings, not to mention Hunter’s remarkably expensive “vacations” with Russian mobsters in Las Vegas, amongst other locales.
Which, at their core, are clearly ghoulish distractions from the darkest reality of all: the fact that the current “President” of the United States literally sold out the nation to foreign enemies.
As gross as Hunter’s antics are, they are nowhere near as dangerous as the devastation that the “leader of the free world” is currently inflicting on the free world, as Hunter himself is not in a position of power.
Though his father most certainly is, much to the delight of Beijing and other authoritarian regimes eager to see the downfall of freedom, liberty, and, ironically, diversity.
Indeed, most hilariously (albeit darkly) of all, the Democrats apparently don’t think any ethical code needs to apply to the current Biden regime, despite the fact the president quite obviously sold the nation down the river to foreign enemies via his scapegoat son, Hunter.
Indeed, the Dems are demanding a “Code of Ethics” for the Supreme Court for some justices’ alleged hobnobbing with wealthy donors … while Biden literally collects millions from communist or otherwise corrupt regimes abroad, “sharing the wealth” with at least twelve different Bidens.
On top of that, the Biden regime is also openly threatening to send Devon Archer, Hunter’s personal friend and business associate, to prison, all in an effort to prevent him from revealing the truth of the Bidens’ business dealings abroad.
In other words, the Biden regime has long since jettisoned any semblance of morality, and, for that matter, legality, yet none of the Dems appear ready and willing to impose a “Code of Ethics” on the current puppet in chief.
The only saving grace associated with the Dems’ latest Supreme Court scheme (i.e., distraction) is that it has virtually no chance of passing.
Not to mention the fact that the conservative majority is far more likely to outlast Biden’s utterly disastrous presidency.
