Following the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, it’s hard to believe that Comrade Kamala was calling for cooling down the political rhetoric all of three months ago.
After all, she went recently proclaimed to CNN that Trump was a “fascist,” claiming that he would undertake all kinds of revenge against his enemies if he wins the forthcoming election.
In other words, Kamala has been making him sound as dangerous and unstable as possible, all but inviting someone to make another attempt on his life.
And, behind the scenes, the Secret Service has been quite questionable in its own efforts to protect the top presidential candidate … or lack thereof.
As reported by the Daily Wire, Congressional lawmakers responsible for investigating the attempted assassination of top presidential candidate Trump have determined what many sane Americans have known all along: The Secret Service bears strong culpability for the catastrophe that occurred.
In a detailed report, Congressional lawmakers concisely summarized their position: “Put simply, the evidence obtained by the Task Force to date shows the tragic and shocking events of July 13 were preventable and should not have happened.”
Indeed.
Unfortuantely, the preventable was not prevented, the reasons of which do not remain entirely clear.
The House also presented eight key findings to support its assertion, in particular the bizarre decision to notsecure the surrounding area.
“Despite its proximity to a main road, clear sight lines to the stage, and elevated position, the Secret Service placed the AGR complex outside the secure perimeter for the event, meaning that the crowd that gathered there was not screened by USSS or other law enforcement …
The consequences of that decision were compounded by the fact that state and local law enforcement posted near the complex did not have complete visual coverage of the area,” the reported added.
And what heavy consequences they were … which is precisely why the Dems called to tone down the political rhetoric afterwards.
That lasted about three days, if that.
Rather humorously, it was not only the House that reached this conclusion, but also the more notorious representative of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Indeed, Alejandro Mayorkas created his own report, in which he also faulted the Secret Service for failure to protect Trump.
“Thousands of men and women have dedicated their lives to the Secret Service, and we remain grateful to them for their bravery, selflessness, and willingness to serve in a vital role …
But the Secret Service as an agency requires fundamental reform to carry out its mission. Without that reform, the Independent Review Panel believes another Butler can and will happen again,” Mayorkas intoned.
Interesting how Mayorkas notes that another attempted assassination can and will happen again.
Says quite a bit.
Mayorkas also asserted that “there were insufficient, and, in fact, no personnel from the Secret Service or other federal, state, or local law enforcement” that were responsible for securing the surrounding environment.
Rather ironic, considering that there is, “in fact,” absolutely inadequate personnel available to secure the border, courtesy of the Biden-Harris fiasco masquerading as a presidential administration.
“The failure to secure a complex of buildings … represents a critical security failure,” Mayorkas asserted.
Without a doubt.
Just rather ironic that the King of Border Security failures – Mayorkas – can easily call out the Secret Service for what his own department has done ever since the Biden-Harris administration was installed.
