(Another) BLM Exec Busted For Massive Theft

One can only hope that virtually everyone, including the most ardent of ardent leftists, sees BLM for the fraud that it is now, especially since one of its key leaders, Shalomyah Bowers, has been busted for stealing at least $10M in donations since the organization began.

That’s right: $10M+ in donations stolen, but at least the donors allegedly received a tax break for their mindless donation.

Now, if the Biden administration is so desperate to drum up revenues, perhaps it should have ensured that BLM never became a tax-exempt organization in the first place, as that may have resulted in a few more million being collected in tax revenues.

Admittedly mere pennies compared to Biden’s multi-trillion dollar spending pans.

One thing is for sure: BLM and Biden operate rather similarly in terms of their unfettered greed; the only difference is that BLM steals millions while Biden steals trillions.

“The new leader of the national Black Lives Matter non-profit ‘siphoned’ more than $10 million in fees from donors to pay his consulting firm, according to a lawsuit,” the New York Post reports.

Way to be subtle, Mr. Bowers.

Seriously – did he honestly think no one would notice if at least 10 percent of the donations (yes, BLM sadly pulled in close to $100M in donations) grew legs and walked out the door?

Apparently, he did, and he frankly appears no better than the thugs that terrorize and loot stores, all due to the need for “reparations,” of course.

The lawsuit was filed by BLM Grassroots in the Los Angeles Superior Court, which issued fairly scathing commentary on the greed of Bowers in doing so.

“Mr. Bowers decided he could not let go of his personal piggy bank,” the lawsuit noted.

Wow. Nearly $100M in donations (possibly even more, who knows, given the group’s absence of accountability), yet it’s little more than a “piggy bank” to the greedy founders.

“Instead, he continued to betray the public trust by self-dealing and breaching his fiduciary duties. Instead of using the donations for its intended purposes, Mr. Bowers diverted these donations to his own coffers and intentionally took calculated steps to prevent those same resources from being used by BLM for on-the-ground-movement work,” the lawsuit added.

Way to go Democrats. Sure picked a great organization to back.

Then again, sounds like BLM just operates at a lower level than “The Big Guy” and Hunter.

Once BLM ascends to the Oval Office, not beyond the realm of possibility given the horrific presence of its chief spokesperson, Kamala in the West Wing now, then it can get away with all the theft that the organization was clearly created for in the first place.

And, of course, Bowers is engaging in the typical game of denial, in spite of multiple millions missing,

“But the BLM leader, Shalomyah Bowers, told The Post the case against him is nothing more than a power grab by disgruntled activists trying to wrest control of the movement,” the Post added.

“It’s the most insane thing I’ve read in a court pleading, and it’s signed under penalty of perjury when they know it’s a lie,” Bowers raged.

Right, of course. Everything is a “lie” with BLM, right down to its alleged support of communities.

Bowers is hardly the only executive that’s been busted with mass theft, especially when considering the antics of BLM Co-Founder Patrisse Cullors.

Cullors is well known for condescendingly referring to donations as “white guilty money,” which she promptly used to buy a multimillion-dollar real estate portfolio in a white neighborhood.

“You know, contrary to what, you know, has been reported, much of the funding that came in was from individual donors. That was a lot of white guilt money. There’s a lot of white folks being like, ‘We just got to put the money,’” Cullors proclaimed on MSNBC.

Charming.

And those individual donors helped build a $3.2M real estate profile for Ms. Cullors.

That will go really far in getting the “justice” they want.

Astonishingly, Cullors demonstrates brilliant Democrat gaslighting when she claims she didn’t take a salary, implying she worked entirely for free out of the goodness of her heart.

“I should have taken a salary from Black Lives Matter because it would be less confusing for people and I regret that I didn’t,” Cullors said insincerely, “Some of my mistakes are being weaponized against me and also the entire movement, and that’s truly disappointing to see us fall into that as well.”

Oh please. Any “salary” Cullors listed would have never covered millions in real estate purchases, which is precisely why she didn’t pay herself a salary.

What an unbelievable lie!

“’I didn’t [take a salary because] I didn’t plan on staying as executive director forever,” Cullors continued.

Well, now that’s clearly the truth, at least to a degree.

After all, it is very clear that Cullors was never going to stay with the organization forever … just long enough to steal enough millions for herself, given that government welfare apparently wasn’t cutting it for Her Highness anymore.
