The mainstream media may want to get its act together, chiefly by scrutinizing all the Trump administration’s actions to date that are designed to help the American people.
As it’s pretty clear that most media outlets are reporting on the same tired outrages, rather than the new, exciting developments that are coming out near-daily from the Trump administration.
Recently, The Hill sniffed that President Donald Trump is highly dependent upon “paycheck to paycheck” voters, strongly insinuating that the actions the president has taken in conjunction with Elon Musk will eventually alienate voters who continue to struggle economically.
Per The Hill, pollster Frank Luntz certainly believes that Trump may be alienating “paycheck to paycheck” voters, which is evident when he suggests that the the president may have taken his eye off the ball.
“[Voters] don’t want the president to take his eye off the ball when it comes to how much their day-to-day life costs them,” Luntz declared.
Well, have no fear, mainstream media darlings, as Trump clearly has yet “to take his eye off the ball” with his growing voter base.
The president’s focus on all Americans is especially evident when scrutinizing one of Trump’s more recent executive orders, which takes aim straight at one of the most substantial costs many consumers face: exorbitant prices for healthcare visits, procedures, and other services.
The executive order – “Making America Healthy Again by Empowering Patients with Clear, Accurate, and Actionable Healthcare Pricing Information” – addresses the precise concerns of the voters that The Hill strongly insinuates that Trump is bound to lose.
Declaring that the executive order lays the groundwork for “historic steps” designed to right “a fundamental wrong within the American healthcare system,” the Trump administration details all the ways in which it is aiming to make healthcare far more affordable again, thereby putting even more money in Americans’ pockets.
“For far too long, prices were hidden from patients and employers, with inadequate recourse available to individuals looking to shop for care or obtain pricing information from a healthcare provider in advance of a visit or procedure,” the order began.
Without a doubt. A practice that likely worsened during the chaos of the pandemic and other ongoing public health crises.
“These opaque pricing arrangements allowed powerful entities, such as hospitals and insurance companies, to operate with insufficient accountability regarding their pricing practices, resulting in patients, employers, and taxpayers shouldering the burden of inflated healthcare costs,” the order continued.
Yep. Further robbing Americans of their hard-earned money … as if Bidenflation and freebies for illegals weren’t bad enough.
Worst of all, Trump had originally started favorable changes in the healthcare industry for Americans during his first term … but such progress was immediately sidelined when Biden and Comrade Kamala came to power.
“Unfortunately, progress on price transparency at the Federal level has stalled since the end of my first term … The Biden Administration failed to take sufficient steps to fully enforce my Administration’s requirement that would end the opaque nature of drug prices by ensuring health plans publicly post the true prices they pay for prescription drugs,” the order added.
Arguing that “the American people deserve better,” the order proceeds to highlight additional ways in which the Trump administration is determined to make Americans healthy again.
“The Federal Government will continue to promote universal access to clear and accurate healthcare prices and will take all necessary steps to improve existing price transparency requirements; increase enforcement of price transparency requirements; and identify opportunities to further empower patients with meaningful price information, potentially including through the expansion of existing price transparency requirements,” the order asserted.
Excellent.
The order also noted that the Secretary of Labor, the Secretary of the Treasury, and the Secretary of Health and Human Services will also undertake “all necessary and appropriate action to rapidly implement and enforce the healthcare price transparency regulations issued pursuant to Executive Order 13877.”
Thus, the Trump administration is targeting gasoline, grocery, and healthcare costs alike through a series of targeted executive actions that the media chooses not to cover.
Misinformation, after all, is much preferred by media pundits angry over Trump successes.
Therefore, The Hill should have no fear – the “paycheck to paycheck voters,” as the outlet sneers, will be just fine under a president who looks out for them … rather than looking out for hordes of “newcomers” streaming across the border.
Frankly, all the media to do is look at the official White House webpage, but that’s apparently too challenging … or, more likely, too positive.
