Mass Of Violent Migrants Set Up “Open Air” Drug Market In Sanctuary City

“This is my Zen place. Well, it was my Zen place.”

So declared a Manhattanite who once found solace in a New York park, which has since been taken over by illegals.

In fact, an illegal migrant apparently chased the Manhattanite who found such “zen” in the park before the illegal migrant arrivals.

Rather sadly, odds are excellent that the Manhattanite in question voted Democrat … then proceeded to wonder how and why their city was invaded by illegals.

And it’s rather clear that the zero-bail practices and other pro-crime policies espoused by the corrupt leadership of New York City have attracted some of the most pro-crime migrants.

According to a report from the New York Post, quite a few illegal migrants, who are allegedly desperate for jobs, appear to be carving out their own path just fine … through increasingly organized crime.

Indeed, the report details the “unruly migrants” and their apparent takeover of a park in Manhattan.

“An out-of-control encampment has sprouted up at the once-placid Manhattan park in recent weeks – with migrants even setting up an illicit open-air market hawking drugs.

More than 50 tents have now been set up along the East River on Randall’s Island, on the outskirts of the city-run 3,000-bed mega-shelter. Two dozen tents line the island end of the 98th Street walking path alone,” the New York Post reported.

So, in other words, migrants have apparently set up a massive, open air, illicit drug market with at least 50 tents and counting.

Naturally, mass arrests are hardly occurring, and drug sales are thriving.

Even more absurdly, while some illegals likely make more (tax free) earnings than Americans with impunity, the woke sanctuary city of New York continues to spend billions of taxpayer funds on criminals.

Billions.

In a separate report, the New York Post found that New York City has spent a staggering $5B on the migrant crisis since Abbott began his bussing scheme.

Even more shockingly, that number that may double by 2025, given the continuous arrival of countless illegal migrants.

“New York City has likely surpassed $5 billion in spending on services for migrants – including nearly $2 billion alone on housing the scores of new arrivals flooding into the Big Apple, according to city data …

Mayor Eric Adams’ administration has even projected the cost could double, hitting $10 billion over the three year period ending June 30, 2025,” the New York Post declared.

Rather disturbingly, the New York Post also notes that the cost of the “entire crisis” is as much as the entire budget for the NYPD.

Then again, the NYPD was decimated during the “Defund Police” movement, further compounding the problems that the city has openly brought on itself.

Problems that city leadership has demanded federal funds for, thereby hammering conservative states for money as well.

Then again, if hapless Harris succeeds in being installed, the crisis in New York City may well skyrocket to $50B … if any city remains at all.
