Biden Deploys 40,000+ Soldiers Overseas For “Enhanced Readiness”

The media has been curiously quiet on the Russia-Ukraine War as of late, at least relative to prior months.

And perhaps the silence may well be due to the fact that the largest NATO training exercise since the Cold War is now underway, as announced by official military sources.

“Ships departed the United States for Europe today carrying U.S. Army equipment for the Dynamic Employment of Forces to Europe for NATO Deterrence and Enhanced Readiness 2024 exercise, or DEFENDER 24, the largest U.S. Army exercise in Europe Scheduled to occur April 4 – May 31, DEFENDER 24 will involve more than 17,000 U.S. and 23,000 multi-national service members from more than 20 Allied and partner nations,” the U.S. Army declared.

Well then. That’s quite the aggressive training exercise. Especially for a war that, per Biden, was going to end within a few weeks … more than two years ago.

Moreover, do not be deceived by the alleged May 31 end date. As the official government webpage also made it clear that this massive military exercise is just the “de facto beginning” of ramped up military activities in Europe.

“Today’s departure of ships represents a milestone moment for the exercise, and its de facto beginning. The movement is the culmination of months of planning and coordination by the United States Transportation Command,” the U.S. Army added.

So much for Trump causing World War III … On the contrary, it appears that the Dems are, once again, projecting all their own behavior onto Trump, who had a surprisingly peaceful administration relative to the warmongering that has characterized literally every other American presidency this century, including other Republican administrations.

As evidenced by Steadfast Defender 2024.

Steadfast Defender 2024 will apparently involve upwards of 90,000 troops, underscoring its truly massive size.

British Captain Greg Jardine admitted that the 90,000-strong NATO force is “unparalleled” relative to past training exercises.

“’It’s an unparalleled size compared with our usual exercises … It’s an escalation in tempo in our training and that comes down to the exercise. We are not in a situation where we are expecting to go to war any time soon but the situation in Europe has changed,” Jardine remarked.

British Corporal Lauren Drabble also observed that the “training exercise” is rather large, relative to normal.

“We don’t normally receive this many vehicles, and this is certainly the largest operation I’ve been involved in in my career,” Drabble admitted.

You don’t say.

Moreover, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz also called for the “urgent” need to rapidly increase the “mass production of arms.”

“This is urgently necessary because the painful reality is that we do not live in times of peace … Those who want peace must be able to successfully deter aggressors,” Scholz boomed.

Interesting that such warmongering bluster didn’t emerge from European leaders over the course of Trump’s leadership.

Doesn’t take much reflection to see why.
