Clueless Buttigieg Rants At Republicans Over Border Catastrophe

While Democrats can play the blame game in a number of convoluted ways, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg appears to have taken pitiable blame games over the border to an entirely new level.

Just consider his recent appearance on Fox News, with host Shannon Bream.

“We can do a Washington blame game all day. And you can tell there are some folks in the Capitol who would rather do that rather than roll up the sleeves and solve the problem … But anybody who opens their mouth about this issue should first have to explain, any politician should first have to explain why they stood in the way of a border bill that could be passed tomorrow, and the president would sign it,” Buttigieg declared.

Wow, Buttigieg. Gaslight much?

Ever occur to the alleged Green Deal activist that perhaps a so-called “blame game” wouldn’t even be necessary if President Biden had merely continued the same border policies left behind by his “predecessor?”

Then again, Buttigieg is counting on his primary audience having the memory of a gnat, so he likely does not anticipate audiences questioning him on these rather basic points.

Buttigieg promptly lurched from blaming Republicans for the border to astonishingly suggesting that Bidenwould do more for the border, if it weren’t for those darn Republicans.

“Congress should listen to the president and send more resources there, both to adjudicate cases for those who are involved in that side. And to get the technology and the personnel,” Buttigieg sniffed.

Please, Buttigieg. Congress should listen to top presidential candidate Trump, full stop.

Listening to Biden’s puppet masters is clearly a disaster, after all.

Buttigieg continued his bizarre defense of Biden during an appearance on ABC News’s “This Week.”

Sitting with George Stephanopoulos, apparently one of the few individuals permitted to interview Biden, Buttigieg continued to sing Biden’s praises, demonstrating a frightening disconnect from reality.

“Anybody who watched that address saw not just in the substance, but in the delivery of President Biden’s remarks, a leader who is in command, showing strength and clarity of vision … Biden deserves more credit for the historic economic results that he’s delivered. Record job creation, unemployment that hasn’t stayed this low for this long since before I was born,” Buttigieg boomed.

Yeah, and record inflation, which undermines all the gains associated with jobs.

As far as Biden’s “strength and clarity of vision?”

Please, spare us all, Buttigieg. Not even the biased DOJ would go that far, as evidenced in its admission that Biden has a “poor memory.”

Not exactly in alignment with “strength and clarity of vision.”

“Look at the changes that he’s brought about. Take some of the issues that matter most to newer generations. Climate is a great example, right? He, I think generously, suggested that nobody in the chamber would disagree with him that climate change is real and a real problem. And yet I could hear snickering from behind me from some congressional Republicans who were saying they don’t think it is a problem,” Buttigieg continued angrily.

So, according to Buttigieg, Biden has brought about immense changes, merely from saying “climate change is real?” Do Dems seriously consider saying something about so-called climate change the same thing as doingsomething about climate change?

On top of that, if Biden were so concerned about climate change, perhaps he should have his entire cabinet, including Mr. Buttigieg, fly commercial.

But they won’t do that, of course. Private jets supersede environmental concerns … for them.

But hey, as long as they’re “saying something” about climate change, apparently all is well … in the Dems’ world, anyway.
