Top Intelligence Agency Threatens To Withhold Key Briefings From Trump

For a supposedly covert agency, the CIA sure isn’t very subtle when expressing its dislike for Trump.

On the contrary, the agency has representatives go on mainstream television and effectively threaten to withhold briefings from Trump.

The formal position of the CIA and the Biden administration is that Trump will be able to review documents, but the informal position expressed by the CIA suggests otherwise.

Case in point: the recent appearance of Ex-CIA director John Brennan on mainstream media, where he all but threatened withholding key briefings from Trump, even if Trump formally secures the Republican nomination.

In an interview with MSNBC’s woke Wallace, Brennan demonstrated rather astonishing bias against Trump, to the extent that the CIA apparently might violate longstanding policies of sharing intelligence with the top presidential candidates in each party.

“It’s somewhat surreal that an individual who is under indictment for mishandling classified information is going to be getting classified intelligence briefings,” Brennan brayed.

Is that so?

It’s even more “surreal” to see the United States begin to descend into a Banana Republic, which was escalated under the dubious leadership of the Obama administration.

Indeed, many of the headlines emerging regarding Trump now are very much reminiscent of the types of headlines that come out of dictatorships – blatant suppression of political opposition.

And, even though the CIA has formally claimed that it will not withhold intelligence briefings from Trump, Brennan’s remarks to woke Wallace suggested otherwise.

“Now, I’m pretty certain that my former intelligence colleagues will provide briefings that are not going to do any type of damage to sources and methods in terms of providing information to Donald Trump that he could misuse,” Brennan threatened.

In other words, according to Brennan, the CIA will disallow Trump from seeing varied briefings that other presidents or presidential candidates will see, for reasons known only to the CIA and their co-collaborators.

“But they will provide analytic overviews and briefings about some of the world’s hot spots, letting Donald Trump know what the assessments are at this point,” Brennan added helpfully.

So, in other words, the CIA will give a Cliff’s Notes version of intelligence to Trump. Which is supposedly justified by Trump’s alleged mishandling of various classified documents.

“I think it’s going to be analysis that will be devoid of the sources and methods, the sensitive things that we are most concerned about, the types of things that were in all those documents that he had in the bathroom and all those areas in Mar-a-Lago,” Brennan added.

Ah, because Biden’s storage of classified documents beside his “classic Corvette” is so much safer.

Especially when his enterprising son and so-called “business partners” are in town.

In addition to threatening to effectively withhold intelligence from Trump, Brennan was also sure to disparage Trump in other ways over the course of his interview.

At one point, he suggested that withholding intelligence from Trump was a practical decision since Trump would allegedly “disparage” the documents anyway.

“[Trump] probably will disparage them as he has disparaged U.S. intelligence officers as well as U.S. intelligence itself for so long over so many years,” Brennan added.

Well, quite frankly, Mr. Brennan, what do you expect?

After all, you were one of the 50 signatories that claimed Hunter Biden’s laptop was “Russian disinformation” … which undoubtedly influenced the outcome of 2020.

Trump is hardly the only one “disparaging” the so-called intelligence committee over that one … multiple millions of Americans are as well.

Other individuals associated with the CIA have also strongly hinted that Trump shouldn’t have access to the “stuff” that the agency has.

“I’d be afraid about giving him stuff … I mean, who knows what kind of riff he would do,” an unnamed “former” official informed Politico.

Funny. Americans are wondering about the type of “riff” that the CIA and other swamp agencies might do just in time for the 2024 election.

Most hilariously of all, Biden, of all people, has given rather ironic reasoning for why Trump had been barred from other briefings.

“[Trump] might slip and say something,” Biden boomed.

Well then.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
