Leave it to the Squad to instantly side with terrorists.
Following Hamas’s shock attack on Israel, which is one of the worst single day slaughter of Jewish individuals since the Holocaust, one would think that America-hating Democrats with nothing proactive to say would have the sense to at least keep their mouths shut.
Alas, that simple skill seems to have evaded the Dems, the so-called “Squad” in particular, judging from their astonishingly tone-deaf social media posts that were delivered right after the attacks.
Representative Ilhan Omar, who hails from Somalia and routinely expresses disdain for America, fired off a series of social media posts that indirectly condoned the heinous actions taken by Hamas, in spite of her superficial claims to the contrary.
“I condemn the horrific acts we are seeing unfold today in Israel against children, women, the elderly, and the unarmed people who are being slaughtered and taken hostage by Hamas. Such senseless violence will only repeat the back and forth cycle we’ve seen, which we cannot allow to continue. We need to call for de-escalation and ceasefire. I will keep advocating for peace and justice throughout the Middle East,” Omar brayed.
Right. Because a “de-escalation” is all that’s needed to negotiate with terrorists; terrorists are just so well known for following terms of agreement and agreeing to live in a relatively peaceful, bloodless fashion.
Of course, that’s all nonsense.
Is Omar for real? What part of “do not negotiate with terrorists” does Omar not understand?
As a ceasefire would require the precise type of negotiation that the United States has long since vowed to avoid!
On top of that, Omar has been all to ready to “condemn” America and its allies for years, making her supposed condemnation of terrorism now come across as a tad hollow.
AOC, always ready to be in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, moronically called for an “immediate ceasefire and de-escalation,” leading Republican Representative Nancy Mace to blast the former bartender as a “Hamas apologist.”
“Hamas apologist asking for ‘ceasefire’ after one side launches a massive terrorist attack. Nice try,” Mace remarked coolly with regards to AOC’s idiocy.
Seriously. Representative Mace is right on point with that one.
Curiously, AOC doesn’t seem to feel the same need to call for an “immediate ceasefire” in Ukraine, despite the fact that the war in Europe is rapidly approaching the two-year mark.
Perhaps some of the most heinous, effectively pro-Hamas commentary of all came from none other than Representative Rashida Tlaib and Representative Cori Bush, both of whom have made names for themselves due to their virulent hatred of the police.
Heck, Bush used to be a BLM “activist” until she paid her way into Congress, with the “payments” facilitated by anarchist billionaires.
Needless to say, Tlaib and Bush featured the most incendiary commentary of all.
“I grieve the Palestinian and Israeli lives lost yesterday, today, and every day … I am determined as ever to fight for a just future where everyone can live in peace, without fear and with true freedom, equal rights, and human dignity … The path to that future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance. The failure to recognize the violent reality of living under siege, occupation, and apartheid makes no one safer. No person, no child anywhere should have to suffer or live in fear of violence,” Tlaib boomed.
So, Ms. Tlaib is suddenly concerned about “fear of violence” while long calling for the abolition of the police. Seems logical.
About as logical as effectively blaming Israel for the attack, which is precisely what she just did with that statement.
Bush, who is clearly devoid of the ability to have original thoughts, sent out a statement that basically said the exact same thing that Tlaib’s statement did.
Nice work, Ms. Tlaib and Ms. Bush.
Way to fry an American ally on the global stage and further encourage mass terrorism and geopolitical instability.
Given the clearly destructive purposes these Democrats have been instilled for, one almost wonders if some of these “representatives” already had statements preplanned and ready for release, well before news of the attack even hit the mainstream media.
The hundreds upon hundreds of pro-Hamas protestors that swarmed New York City one day after the attack also makes one wonder exactly how much theater was crafted in advance.
