Talk about going out with a metaphorical bang,
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Lieutenant Jessica Taylor decided to retire in a way that really underscores the degree of public service offered by dedicated law enforcement officers.
Taylor, who managed to survive working as a law enforcement officer in Seattle for over 20 years, decided to draw attention to a virus spreading throughout the United States, courtesy of ultra-woke politicians: unapologetically pro-crime policies.
Thus, rather than retire quietly, Taylor delivered “unfiltered, raw, and unapologetic” commentary, to the tune of 15 pages, rightfully receiving immense public support in doing so.
“This will be a brutally long letter, but after 23+ years, I have a few things to say,” Taylor began pointedly.
By all means, continue to talk away – especially as the searing honesty cuts through all the liberal lies.
Taylor proceeded to blast the totally “toxic” police department, which has devolved into “nothing more than a circus, with boisterous clowns running amok.”
Unsurprisingly, the top (i.e., woke) brass felt zero shame into turning the city into “a playground for anarchists and criminals,” who in turn have terrorized the few honest people left in the city.
“People are getting hurt and killed in this city, left and right … I bet most of the citizens of Seattle would love to be able to walk outside at night or mosey into downtown Seattle and not be afraid … But they can’t, and that’s your fault. You’ve failed them. You’ve failed us,” Taylor declared.
Exactly. After all, Seattle is notorious for its “CHOP” zone that top brass in the police department wouldn’t touch, despite the death of a minor that could have been easily prevented.
Taylor also reserved especially acute ire for Chief Adrian Diaz, an obvious diversity hire, which is especially evident in his refusal to enforce the law.
“You willingly became a puppet, a spineless ‘yes man,’ perfectly willing to throw the entire department under the bus to achieve your coveted spot as chief, complete with a fancy corner office. Your approach reeks of a desperate hunger for control rather than genuine understanding and respect for the autonomy of our officers,” Taylor declared.
In other words, Diaz is a perfect example of a modern Democrat.
Including the embodiment of all the Dems’ deplorable actions, committed on a quite regular basis.
“Your controlling, bullying, and gaslighting tendencies have wreaked havoc on this department, driving away talented and dedicated officers. You are a vindictive, power-hungry individual, and I wouldn’t trust you as far as I could throw you,” Taylor snarled.
“Controlling, bullying, and gaslighting.” The hallmark of the left, which has left the nation in a dangerously vulnerable position.
“I hope, with every fiber of my being, that an outside agency investigates you thoroughly … Your character is truly questionable at best, and the citizens of this once-great city deserve to know the truth – all of it,” Taylor added.
Yep. Mr. Diaz apparently shoved his way to the front of a Taylor Swift concert, for instance, paying nothing while others paid thousands to be in the front row.
Needless to say, he did so for his own personal gratification, gyrating to a pop singer that generally caters to teenage girls while the police officers underneath him continued to suffer daily threats to their lives.
“You offered me an opportunity for an honest exit interview, and here it is. I will always stand up for what’s right and what I believe in … even if I am standing alone,” Taylor continued.
Hats off to Taylor, though she is most certainly not standing alone, given the outpouring of support from the online community.
“Good for her. A brave public servant who deserves much better leadership,” one individual asserted.
“They have destroyed Seattle. Sad thing is politicians profit off of homelessness and will never solve the problem since it makes their pockets richer,” an additional commenter remarked.
And, perhaps most hilariously of all, one commenter suggested that Taylor rather succinctly summarized the deep state of affairs in the swamp.
“A very concise report of what the [D]emocrat party has done to the state of Washington,” another commentary added.
