There’s entitled, and then there’s entitled.
And the emphasis on entitled is surely designated for some of the most militant brats in history – woke Ivy League “students.”
As widely publicized across multiple media outlets, several “students” smashed their way into Hamilton Hall a few days ago, apparently reenacting the turbulence of 1968.
This time, however, students are doing so in the name of apparent terrorism, ironically in a city that suffered from the worst terrorist attack, ever, on American soil – 9/11.
How precipitously New York City has fallen since then.
Astoundingly, not only have the Ivy League “students” destroyed university facilities and posed an indisputable threat to the public, but they have also doubled down on their so-called “demands,” including the divestment of university investments that have any ties to Israel or organizations supporting Israel.
Which would include pretty much every organization, but the business illiterate brats don’t know that.
Even more astonishingly, one of the so-called student “leaders” of the movement has actually had the astonishing gall to demand “humanitarian aid” for the wannabe revolutionaries that were holed up in Hamilton Hall.
While the “protestors” have since been dispersed following NYPD intervention, which resulted in nearly 300 arrests to date, their asinine remarks remain embedded in history, underscoring the extent to which they have been thoroughly brainwashed.
Not only do they have an absence of appreciation for the freedom to “protest” in the first place (without being killed), but they also appear to have an absence of any logical, critical thinking whatsoever.
Columbia student Johannah King-Slutzky, an alleged PhD student, declared themselves to be a supposed “political strategist for leftist and progressive causes,” yet they appear to have remarkably thin skin.
After all, they think the authorities they are violently fighting against owe them something, including “humanitarian aid.”
“Do you want students to die of dehydration and starvation? It’s crazy to say because we’re on an Ivy League campus, but this is like basic humanitarian aid we’re asking for. Like, could people please have a glass of water,” “they” said.
Like, could you not smash up a building with hammers and demand the genocide of Jewish individuals? Get real, Ms./Mr. “PhD.”
Real warriors on the battlefield, they are.
The demands for “humanitarian aid” for so-called students on a meal plan are even more hilarious when considering that half the militants arrested apparently weren’t students at all.
They were, however, paid rabble rousers that Columbia University permitted to destroy its campus while intimidating the Jewish population.
Indeed, Columbia University, unlike sensible universities in the South, made a terrible mistake when it decided it would be a great idea to embolden so-called “protestors” who have spewed hateful antisemitism for weeks, all while disrupting key university operations.
The response of Columbia University has been pitiable, to the extent that even some Democrats have demanded the resignation of the Board of Trustees if the university can’t get its act together.
What ultimately happens to the inept administration and trustees at Columbia University remains to be seen, though Minouche Shafik, the university’s Egyptian president, doesn’t appear poised to leave her $16M mansion anytime soon.
Speaking of which, since when do university presidents live in $16M mansions?
Perhaps Biden should eyeball university administration’s expenditures before blithely cancelling multiple billions of dollars in student debt.
