DeSantis Set For Epic Showdown With Nitwit Newsom

Talk about California Dreamin’.

Nitwit Newsom, whose policies were so terrible that even Californians held a gubernatorial recall election, apparently thinks he can defeat any challenge that is thrown his way.

Governor Gavin Newsom has been itching for a fight with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, especially given the distinct possibility that Newsom may fashion himself as a 2024 presidential candidate for the Dems after all.

Which is exactly why he has been targeting DeSantis relentlessly for a debate.

Recently, one of Newsom’s many aides expressed anger that DeSantis had yet to agree to debate the woke governor.

“DeSantis should put up or shut up. Anything else is just games,” the aide sneered.

However, DeSantis likely surprised them with his response.

“Absolutely I’m game. Just tell me when and where,” DeSantis declared.

Now that will be an entertaining debate. Especially considering that the facts are seriously on his side.

In June, DeSantis mused about Newsom’s obsession Florida, which is bizarre, to say the least.

“You know, it’s interesting … He’s got huge problems in his state. And yet with all of those problems, he has a real, serious fixation on Florida; I mean, I think it’s just bizarre that he does that,” DeSantis remarked, noting that a “massive exodus” of Californians have left due to Newsom’s asinine policies.

Indeed, per recent reports, California and New York have lost upwards of $640M in tax revenue while New York and California have gained $23.1B in tax revenue due to the “mass exodus” referenced by DeSantis.

Hilariously, California and New York need the tax revenues far more than Florida.

DeSantis has also called out Newsom for refusing to enter the race while Emperor Biden is still an option.

“But what I would tell him is, you know what? Stop pussyfooting around Are you going to throw your hat in the ring and challenge Joe? Are you going to do it?  Or are you going to sit on the sidelines and chirp? Why don’t you throw your hat in the ring, and then we’ll go ahead and talk about what’s happening,” DeSantis declared.

Alas, Newsom has yet to enter the race, though he is unwisely chomping at the bit to debate DeSantis.

After Newsom declared, “I’m all in,” the anticipated debate moderator, Sean Hannity, expressed caution.

“You would do a two-hour debate with Ron DeSantis?” Hannity inquired dubiously.

“Make it three … I would do it one day’s notice with no notes. I look forward to that,” Newsom boasted.

Wow. Perhaps Newsom has become too sunbaked from the so-called “Golden State” to make such a boast.

Either that, or Newsom is still pissed that his own in-laws have previously donated to DeSantis’s political campaigns.
