Wow, the White House has hit a new low with this one.
Not only are billions hurled at Ukraine, but multiple millions are being hurled at so-called gender initiatives across more conservative Caribbean nations.
As reported by The Blaze, the United States Agency for International Development has donated millions in taxpayer funds to brainwashing children in developing nations.
The United Nations Development Programme project, “Being LGBTI in the Caribbean,”
“regional programme that aims to enhance knowledge, partnerships, and capacities of LGBTI communities, civil society and States to reduce human rights violations and negative attitudes towards LGBTI people in the Caribbean,”
Absolute insanity.
Just consider the following output from the absurd UN detailed in “Reporting on the Jamaican LGBT community: A Guide for Jamaican and International Journalists.”
The report is nothing short of astonishing in its normative arrogance, an arrogance that is all the more hilarious when considering the same elitist militants claim to value “diversity” and “critical thinking.”
A real critical theory would recognize the utter tone-deafness towards other international cultures embedded in the largely evidence-free report.
“Resist the temptation to uncritically repeat dominant narratives,” the report blares.
Ha! That’s all the left does!
Even more ridiculous explanations ensue shortly thereafter.
“Narratives such as LGBT issues are about the imposition of foreign culture, LGBT couples are inherently violent and human rights are a hurdle to development are very common and very harmful stereotypical narratives that permeate Jamaica,” the report sniffed.
You mean, the imposition of the woke from the United States? That happens to be foreign to most Americans as well.
“In media reporting, it is important to question whether a report uncritically reproduces those narratives or whether there is actual evidence to support the presentation of these narratives within an article. If it is the former then the reporting could be considered baseless and repetitive at best, but also a contributor to harmful stereotypes that exist about the community,” the report continued.
So, in other words, the UN advocates using the strategies that should have been used on Hunter Biden stories.
Given the leftist propaganda media state, the emphasis on “critical” thinking is just too much.
So is the emphasis on ghastly “safe spaces.”
“Create safe space for LGBT journalists in the media,” the report arrogantly continued, “focus on creating safe spaces so that LGBT writers, editors and journalists can start to feel empowered to challenge the existing modes of reporting.”
How about focusing on a “safe space” for freedom of speech and thought …
