In several ways, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is the gift that keeps on giving … for Mexican cartels, that is.
After all, Mayorkas spent several of the first months of Biden’s ill-fated presidency declaring that the border had no issues whatsoever.
Astonishingly, he continued to make this claim even as the number of illegal entries soared to heights never seen before.
Now, millions of illegal entries later, Mayorkas has apparently realized he can’t keep claiming that nothing is wrong at the border, so instead he’s decided to focus on minimizing the issues as much as possible.
In essence, he’s a dream spokesperson for the cartels, given that his dismissal of border issues is effectively a greenlight for them to continue doing what they’re doing.
Which is exactly why more than one Republican has shredded him for his asinine irresponsibility.
In remarks to Newsmax, Representative Pat Fallon declared that Mayorkas is clearly more inclined to work for the cartels than he is for the American people he’s supposedly entrusted with protecting.
“He has absolutely done the bidding of one entity, and it’s not the United States of America … It’s the Mexican drug cartels,” Fallon drawled.
Typical, under the Biden regime.
After all, the president’s own son has worked for the Ukrainians, Russians, and a host of other foreign entities whose objectives are not exactly in alignment with the well-being of the United States.
“We have never in our history had over 200,000 border crossings in a given month … [but] we’ve had [that] 10 months in a row, and really, 14 months in a row because they’re counting a little differently now, and it’s only going to be getting worse in a few days,” Fallon continued.
Yup.
All due to Biden’s apparent insistence on lifting Trump era Title 42 restrictions, despite the dangerous influence that will have upon the nation’s already beleaguered national security efforts.
Which is why more than one individual, including Trump himself, has urged for these restrictions to remain in place.
“We need to keep Title 42 because we don’t know who these people are a lot of times … We take them at their word. We need to build a wall and barriers that actually worked, and we need to deport the bad hombres, the bad people that are preying on the very folks that live along the southern border,” Fallon continued.
Exactly.
Especially as more than one individual on various terrorist watch lists has made their way successfully to the border, including from nations literally halfway around the world.
In essence, the border is totally out of control, as Fallon also notes.
“They can’t cope with it and what they need is strong federal leadership, which they’re not getting from Joe Biden … There are consequences for this,” Fallon intoned ominously.
Indeed there are … like ever-exploding sanctuary cities and violence.
One of many reasons why it is crucial for conservatives to take back the White House in 2024.
