Rather humorous that the White House appeared to respond rather forcefully to the notorious leaker, especially following former President Donald Trump’s teasing commentary on Truth Social.
Trump floated the possibility that President Joe Biden himself may be the leaker, which isn’t the most unreasonable assumption in the world considering that Biden apparently thinks it’s a great idea to keep classified documents stored by his classic Corvette.
But hey, at least the documents aren’t “out in the street,” which was Biden’s lame defense following the discovery of the documents.
In the wake of Trump’s teasing commentary, it turns out that a 21-year-old National Guardsmen was arrested for dissemination of sensitive materials online.
The bigger question, of course, is why on earth such a young individual is granted such insanely high government clearance … especially if several hundred others, if not more, have the same access. Coupled with a media-driven agenda.
As reported by Fox News, Marc Thiessen, who served as the chief speechwriter for George W. Bush, finds the overall incompetence absolutely staggering.
“It is treason. The idea that a 21-year-old kid can expose sources and methods of how we spy, how we have penetrated the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, because apparently we’ve exposed the fact we know they have a new hypersonic missile that can reach the United States, that they exposed our penetration of the Russian Defense Ministry, that could affect the war in Ukraine. I mean, the incompetence is stunning,” Thiessen mused.
Funny enough, the last sentence, “the incompetence is staggering,” neatly applies to the Biden administration.
Fitting that massive security breaches would occur under his watch … though varied foreign powers did invest handsomely in the Biden family years in advance as well.
While the 21-year-old leaker’s motives are not entirely clear, it does not seem as though he had a concentrated point in the same way other whistleblowers did … like Edward Snowden pointing out the extremely pervasive surveillance laden in the Biden administration.
“And it wasn’t, unlike Edward Snowden and Chelsea Manning, it wasn’t ideological … It was some kid trying to show off to his friends in a gaming chat room and has literally affected global national security by doing so. How this happens is just beyond me,” Thiessen added in disbelief.
Well, such leaks clearly happen when the Pentagon is more fixated on pronouns than preservation of life … or more fixated on “diversity and equity” rather than delivering actionable results to the American people, not to mention the world.
The world that values freedom, that is.
South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, who is a potential contender for 2024, detailed the varied ways in which the leaked documents will further diminish trust in the United States.
“We’re talking about imperiling likely American lives. We’re talking about weakening our relationship with our allies, emboldening the strength of our adversaries and revealing plans about attacks and coordination for Ukraine and other allies,” Scott remarked morosely.
In other words, the leaked documents exposed what most of the world already suspected, especially following Biden’s brazen dismissal of allies during the disastrous, and deadly, Afghanistan withdrawal.
Needless to say, the Democrat-led damage done to the nation is truly spellbinding in scale, as evidenced by myriad comments online on the same article.
One commenter noted that their immense family sacrifices, which span generations, have effectively been undone by the Dems.
“My Dad fought against the National Socialists in Germany, I helped guard against the Communist Socialists of the USSR while stationed in Germany, but despite ours and thousands of others best efforts, the Democrat Socialists have destroyed our Great country from within. This is indeed the saddest era in the History of the World,” the commenter remarked, perhaps even more morosely than Scott.
One can only hope that America will become “great,” yet again, in under two years’ time … with a real leader, rather than a Manchurian Candidate, at the helm.
