Dems Call For Deeply Disturbing Disinformation Campaign

Wow. Just wow.

Looks like certain Democrats not only consider themselves above the law, but also above the Constitution.

As the whole world has now noticed, the ultra-woke Silicon Valley Bank unsurprisingly went under, shuttering operations as the Fed took over.

On a rather surprising note, however, Democrats emboldened by Big Tech have made some rather remarkable demands.

Including demands to censor information that may encourage people to participate in bank runs.

Representative Thomas Massie announced on Twitter that a top Democrat senator apparently found it appropriate to openly discuss using social media platforms as a major censorship tool.

“Just got off of a zoom meeting with Fed, Treasury, FDIC, House, and Senate. A Democrat Senator essentially asked whether there was a program in place to censor information on social media that could lead to a run on the banks,” Massie reported.

Very ballsy, considering Fauci is currently undergoing depositions regarding his own massive disinformation campaign.

Massive also issued another tweet, reading simply “his name,” which links to an article published on Substack, the same platform that recently published an extensive analysis regarding potential American involvement in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline explosion.

Representative Dan Bishop, who serves as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Accountability, noted that it was none other than Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona who is thrilled about the idea of weaponizing social media for censorship purposes.

“I have confirmed with [House Speaker Kevin] McCarthy that it was Sen. Mark Kelly who asked on last night’s zoom call whether the call hosts (at Treasury, FDIC, etc) were interacting with SM platforms and on the lookout for foreign influence that might promote bank runs,” Bishop declared.

Completely unsurprising that a Democrat senator desired to censor any so-called “disinformation” regarding a woke bank that focused on woke causes and endless “diversity hires.”

Even more unfortunately, some Twitter users appeared unable to grasp the seriousness of the situation.

“I’m as anti-censorship as it gets, but spreading unfounded rumors to promote a run on a bank is one of the VERY few instances where the ‘yelling fire in a crowded theater’ analogy actually DOES apply,” one individual remarked.

Massie, however, had a rather salient reply.

“What about yelling fire in a theater that’s on fire?” Massie challenged.

Needless to say, the individual could not respond to Massie’s rather obvious point.

A much sager Twitter observer remarked that the latest effort to seize individuals’ freedom appears more and more obvious as time passes by.

“Their pretext to seize freedom keeps changing,” the individual declared.

Seriously.

From COVID to climate change to failing banks, elites appear all but determined to keep Americans in the dark.
