Ah, to be able to get away with the highly politicized amnesia the mainstream media routinely displays.
After all, this is the same media that likes to target conservatives the same way ultra-leftist teachers like to target vulnerable youth subject to “gender transitioning” therapy, and both, unfortunately, continue to get away with utterly shameless deception.
Which is precisely why the mainstream media is currently shredding some Republicans’ behavior while conveniently forgetting that Madame Pelosi demonstrated quite a bit of rudeness herself … even more so, actually, as she openly tore up Trump’s previous State of the Union speech, on camera.
Republicans, on the other hand, were muted when booing Biden.
CNN, eager to distract from its perpetually ailing ratings, was quick to hop on board the Republican-bashing train due to the generally boisterous nature of a few representatives.
“Republicans repeatedly heckled President Joe Biden during his State of the Union address on Tuesday night, ignoring the occasional shushes from House Speaker Kevin McCarthy … Biden at one point managed to quickly turn heckles in the chamber into a standing ovation,” CNN declared.
What CNN left out was the fact that select Republicans began to boo after Biden began to openly lie about the alleged plot against Medicaid and Medicare.
After claiming that Republicans have issued a proposal regarding the termination of Medicare and Medicaid, Biden then continued to boom that there was apparent “unanimity” surrounding the federal programs.
“Folks – as we all apparently agree, Social Security and Medicare is off the books now, right? They’re not to be touched. All right, all right. We’ve got unanimity!” Biden boomed.
Though Biden obviously went off script, CNN, in true propagandist fashion, claimed that the White House apparently “relishes” Biden’s off-script remarks.
“White House officials relished in the off-script, back-and-forth moment, saying that Biden has long fed off the energy of engaging with his audience,” the network added.
“Relished?” Uh, yeah. Tell that to the communications team that has to constantly clean up remarks that may spark World War III, especially when such remarks can emerge literally out of nowhere.
Furthermore, “Biden has long fed off the energy?” He was obviously pumped to the hilt on varied adrenaline-inducing substances, which would explain his rapid-fire speech and random shouting throughout. Not to mention the random shouting in general.
Moreover, “engaging with his audience?”
Are these people for real? What energy? And with Biden’s wife fending off questions from reporters, whatengagement with the audience?
Just more made-up nonsense from the Communist News Network.
Tennessee GOP Rep. Andy Ogles booed in response to Biden’s claims that he had a “solution” for the border, one that apparently doesn’t involve Border Czar Kamala.
To Ogles, that remark was a slap in the fact to individuals who have passed away from fentanyl overdoses.
“For him to stand there with a straight face, and tell us that he has a solution, when with a stroke of a pen he could have shut down the border … that offends me … He has not done a damn thing about it,” Ogles noted.
Well, as long as CNN will cover for political elites and as long as the political elites don’t care about the real effects of their policies, they will probably continue to not do a darn thing about anything, aside from their own self-enrichment.
And speaking of self-enrichment, Ms. Pelosi, one of the wealthiest members in Congress, routinely receives a free pass from the media, even when demonstrating vastly less decorum than that of the (few) Republicans that booed.
Ironically, the same CNN seemed to think it was just fine for her to openly tear up a speech for the entire world to see.
“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi strongly defended her decision to tear up the State of the Union address as completely appropriate, repeating that she considered the paper copy of President Donald Trump’s speech a collection of false statements,” the network reported in early 2020, just weeks before the pandemic swept the nation.
Like a typical leftist, Pelosi also doubled down on nonsense and refused to apologize.
“I tore up a manifesto of mistruths. It was necessary to get the attention of the American people to say, ‘This is not true. And this is how it affects you.’ And I don’t need any lessons from anyone, especially the President of the United States, about dignity,” Pelosi sneered.
That’s right. Because a DUI, hammered nudist, and routine private jet use are all about “dignity”.
Pelosi also hilariously blared that Trump has a “state of mind that had no contact with reality whatsoever.”
Yeah. Again, she should consult her own home life first.
The only saving grace is the fact that CNN continues to flail, even when its poster boy is president.
As observed by Fox News, Fox trumped CNN, yet again.
“Fox News … averaged 4.6 million total viewers from 9-10:30 p.m. ET to defeat all broadcast and cable networks during the State of the Union address … CNN settled for 2.3 million viewers during Biden’s address as the network’s ratings issues continue,” the outlet reported.
