Harris Scrambles To Dodge Serious Red Wave

The controversial Vice President Kamala Harris is currently attempting to organize various political operations across Nevada, particularly as support for Republicans amplifies across the state in wake of disastrous policies of the Biden administration.

Rumors are mounting that Republicans may win the state, against a backdrop of a widely anticipated, nationwide red wave that Harris is desperate to stop.

Per a White House official’s remarks to The Hill, Harris has subsequently enlisted the help of Megan Jones, who served as a top aide to former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Jones is not only known for working for Reid but also as a senior advisor for Harris’s 2020 Democrat presidential primary in Nevada.

The former Reid aide will commence her role as a temporary, specialized position in the government shortly, and she is expected to help with outreach, coordination, and other forms of political planning, as a source indicated to Politico.

Various polls have indicated that incumbent Democrat Catherine Cortez-Masto may easily win against the Republican nominee, Adam Laxalt; however, an average of all the poll’s results by FiveThirtyEight reveals that the average margin is only 3.7 percent.

In addition, a Trafalgar Group survey has also revealed that Laxalt may beat Mesto by 2.4 percentage points, and only 5.5 percent of respondents were unsure of who they might support in this particular survey.

When evaluating the current gubernatorial race in Nevada, the competition becomes even fiercer.

The current governor of Nevada, Steve Sisolak, is a Democrat, and he is presently facing intensified competition from Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo.

Sisolak leads Lombardo by only 1.5 percent on average, whereas the aforementioned Trafalgar has Lombardo winning by a lead of up to two percentage points.

Democrats’ general edginess in Nevada is amplified by Harris’s revolving door of staff, as more than thirteen of her staffers have abruptly departed since December 2021.
