Blackburn Lays Pressure On Biden’s Beijing Buddies

It’s a sad day in America when the White House relies upon a social media platform that is so dangerous that U.S. Army personnel have been banned from using it due to national security risks.

That platform would be none other than TikTok, which is currently eating into even Facebook’s market share and invading Americans’ privacy and security even more deeply than the likes of Google could dream.

Unfortunately, bumbling Biden has not only refused to ban TikTok, which Trump was angling for, but he apparently relies upon it to communicate with his clueless base.

Even worse, Biden continues to let TikTok thrive, despite a damning Buzzfeed report that reveals just how dangerous the platform truly is, especially in terms of collecting highly sensitive data that can be manipulated for various nefarious purposes.

“Statements by eight different employees describe situations where US employees had to turn to their colleagues in China to determine how US user data was flowing. US staff did not have permission or knowledge of how to access the data on their own, according to the tapes,” the report reads.

Well, that’s great. US staff are banned from seeing data collected on Americans.

That’s nice.

Especially when China has full access, as the nation openly bragged.

“‘Everything is seen in China,’ said a member of TikTok’s Trust and Safety department in a September 2021 meeting,” the report continued.

Pathetically, Chinese executives openly lie to the few U.S. Senators questioning them.

Of course, it should come as no surprise that the senators are all Republican, which is one of the many indicators of rampant Democrat-China collusion.

TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew recently sent a letter to nine different Republican senators that provided remarkably unconvincing answers to extremely valid questions regarding national security.

The TikTok CEO brazenly claimed that the damning Buzzfeed report “contains allegations and insinuations that are incorrect and are not supported by facts,” despite the fact that the report is based upon leaked audio sourced directly from TikTok itself.

The Republican senators then directly asked whether or not China-based TikTok employees were ever able to access any sensitive data on Americans, which drew yet another ineffectual response.

The TikTok CEO brazenly claimed that the damning Buzzfeed report “contains allegations and insinuations that are incorrect and are not supported by facts,” despite the fact that the report is based upon leaked audio sourced directly from internal meetings at TikTok itself.

“Employees outside the U.S., including China-based employees, can have access to TikTok user data subject to a series of robust cybersecurity controls and authorization approval protocols overseen by our U.S. based security team,” Chew insisted.

Chew became remarkably less insistent in response to the senators’ next question, which entailed direct concerns regarding national security.

“If the Chinese Communist Party asked you for U.S. user data, what is to stop you from providing it? Can the CCP compel you to provide this data, regardless of response? Can they access it regardless of response?” the senators queried.

Unsurprisingly, Chew provided a highly unconvincing response to the question, blandly replying, “We have not been asked for such data from the CCP. We have not provided U.S. user data to the CCP, nor would we if asked.”

Sure. Like any company is going to operate within China, especially a company of that magnitude, without being wholly subservient to the CCP.

After all, neither Google nor Facebook would enjoy the “freedom” they have now if it weren’t for selling whatever soul they may have ever had to the DNC and other nefarious swamp entities.

Which is precisely why the Republican senators are now sounding the alarm about TikTok’s overt threat to national security.

“TikTok’s response confirms that our fears regarding [Chinese Communist Party] influence within the company are well-founded,” Senator Marsha Blackburn asserted to NBC News.

Not to mention the Communist Party’s influence directly over Biden himself.

“They should have come clean from the start but instead tried to shroud their work in secrecy. Americans need to know that if they are on TikTok, Communist China has their information. TikTok needs to come back and testify before Congress,” Blackburn declared.

One can only hope such testimony does eventually occur … especially if it gives insight into the ways in which “the Big Guy” has long profited from America’s enemies …
