Kamala attempted to escape media inquiries in the United States by jetting off to one of the wealthiest nations on the planet, Singapore.
However, she was apparently forced to deal with difficult questions anyway, to which she offered a rather disingenuous reply.
“So, I understand and appreciate why you asked the question. And I think there’s going to be plenty of time to analyze what has happened and what has taken place in the context of the withdrawal from Afghanistan … But right now, we are singularly focused on evacuating American citizens, Afghans who worked with us, and Afghans who are vulnerable, including women and children.” [Source: Fox News]
“Singularly focused?” Really? That’s interesting, considering it was yet another switch in position from her previous, cackling commentary before she boarded a flight to Singapore.
After laughing uproariously at questions regarding Afghanistan and demanding reporters “hold on,” she gave a rather bumbling response, starting with a rather unimpressive “uh.”
“Uh, I want to talk about two things. First, Afghanistan: we couldn’t have a higher priority right now … And in particular, our priority is making sure that we safely evacuate American citizens, Afghans who worked with us, Afghans at risk including women and children — and that is one of our highest, if not the highest priority right now.” [Source: Breitbart]
So, in other words, Ms. Harris is unsure whether or not the evacuation of American citizens and Afghani allies is “the highest priority right now.”
To be fair, she apparently is unsure of where the border crisis is as well, as she hasn’t deigned to visit it.
Moreover, when Harris talks about having “plenty of time” to analyze Afghanistan, she apparently fails to take into account that there is not “plenty of time” to keep Americans and allies safe.
In fact, the “plenty of time” remark brings to mind her absurd “root causes” stance on migration, which also fails to take into account the extreme urgency of the situation.
Just consider her nonsense below.
“Ultimately, our Administration will consistently engage in the region to address the root causes of migration. We will build on what works, and we will pivot away from what does not work.
It will not be easy, and progress will not be instantaneous, but we are committed to getting it right … Because we know: The strength and security of the United States depends on the implementation of strategies like this one.” [Source: White House]
News flash, Kamala: You’re not an academic like your beloved Obama, another disastrous “leader”; you’re (crazily) one of the most powerful people in the United States government, which means you don’t have the luxury of “time” like egregiously overpaid, oftentimes leftist academics do.
Furthermore, you know what else “the strength and security of the United States” depend on?
Not seriously alienating NATO allies, who are rather peeved, to put it mildly … particularly when Biden didn’t bother to speak to any world leader until two days after his disastrous withdrawal.
Not only has Biden gravely endangered thousands of Americans and Afghani allies, but he also has succeeded in endangering thousands of British individuals, along with others.
Which makes Kamala’s other response in Singapore a total joke.
“We have a responsibility and we feel a deep commitment to making sure that folks who helped us are safe.” [Source: Fox News]
Yeah. Americans stranded in Afghanistan really feel this “deep commitment,” given they are more likely to blow up Senator Cotton’s office rather than bother with the anti-America Biden administration.
Even Meghan McCain has realized the catastrophe of Harris, likening her to a witch … or the mentally disturbed Joker (ironically the same film that liberals attempted to ban, or strongly discourage).
“This may be some kind of real issue (like Joaquin phoenix in the joker) but she’s the Vice President and she’s hand [sic] ample time and resources to media train herself out of reacting to every SINGLE crisis situation like she’s walking onto a late night show. She comes off so craven.” [Source: Fox News]
Craven indeed. Other words also come to mind.
Speaking of craven, pitiful Psaki lashed out at Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, hilariously accusing him of being “irresponsible.”
“First of all, I think it’s irresponsible to say Americans are stranded. They are not … We are committed to bringing Americans who want to come home, home.” [Source: Newsmax]
Hey, Psaki, guess what else is really “irresponsible?”
Refusing to help save Americans outside of Kabul airport, in spite of the fact that the United Kingdom and other NATO allies have apparently figured out a way to retrieve their citizens all over the nation.
Another seriously “irresponsible” action is commanding Americans to go to the airport in order to be rescued … only to be informed that their safety cannot be “ensured.”
Just ask the State Department.
“The United States government cannot ensure safe passage to the Hamid Karzai International Airport.” [Source: Newsmax]
Well then. That’s great.
Now that shows really “deep commitment” to the safety of Americans (not).
