White House Launches Terrifying Distraction From Border Crisis

“This appears to be 100 times worse than COVID – or it could be if it mutates and maintains its high case fatality rate.”

So claimed a pharmaceutical industry “consultant” earlier this month, with regards to a potential bird flu pandemic.

Yep, that’s right: The bird flu, which has long been one of Obama’s pet projects, is apparently surging to the forefront of media stories once again.

A rather pitiable attempt to distract from a crisis at the border.

Though perhaps the only distraction that is sufficient enough would be one that threatens the erasure of additional personal freedoms, which is precisely what the COVID pandemic entailed.

Naturally, if another pandemic is “100 times worse than COVID,” one can only imagine that political restrictions on personal freedoms would be 1,000 times worse.

Now, it would appear that the White House’s rather evil partnership with the Wuhan Institute of Virology has apparently soldiered on, despite the devastation of the COVID pandemic.

That’s right: Not only is gain-of-function research continuing, this time with even deadlier avian flus, but the continuation is occurring with taxpayer funds, per a shocking report from the Daily Mail, based upon documents obtained by the White Coat Waste (WCW) Project.

“Lawmakers are demanding answers after it was revealed the US is sending taxpayer dollars to a Chinese army lab to make bird flu viruses more dangerous to people.

Eighteen members of Congress are demanding answers from the Department of Agriculture (USDA) about the project, which was first revealed by DailyMail.com …

It is part of a $1million collaboration between the USDA and the CCP-run Chinese Academy of Sciences – the institution that oversees the Wuhan lab at the center of the Covid lab-leak theory,” the media outlet reported.

Well, how about that.

Gain-of-function research resumes again, possibly on speed dial with the upcoming 2024 election crisis.

Indeed, Republican Sen Joni Ernst of Iowa is rather concerned, as expressed in a formal letter to Tom Vilsack, secretary of the USDA, the organization bizarrely funding the little gain-of-function endeavor, at least in part.

“I was troubled to learn from the non-profit group White Coat Waste Project that USDA is supporting experiments involving a ‘highly pathogenic avian influenza virus’ that poses a “risk to both animals and humans,’” Ernst wrote.

Well, that’s one of the nicest ways of putting hit. Hopefully “troubled” does not become “terrified” in a few months’ time.

While the USDA claims that “independent researchers” can be funded if working towards the “same goal,” exactly what goal does the Department of Agriculture have with funding the creation of viruses?

On top of that, with China openly backing Russia in its ongoing war in Ukraine, is there any particular reason that the White House thinks it’s a good idea to collaborate with a bunch of literal communists to create viruses, regardless of whether or not they are “independent researchers?”

Justin Goodman, who serves as the senior vice president of WCW, certainly doesn’t think it’s a good idea.

Indeed, Goodman provided rather troubling insight into the government’s latest and not-so-greatest “gain of function” research.

“It’s reckless and indefensible for… bureaucrats to bankroll dangerous avian flu gain-of-function studies involving virus experimenters from the notorious Wuhan animal lab that likely caused COVID and its CCP-run parent organization, the Chinese Academy of Sciences,” Goodman declared.

Indeed. Beyond deplorable, really.

After all, one of the scientists “hard at work” on the project includes notorious “bat lady” Zheng-Li Shi, well known for her manipulation of bat coronaviruses.

Now, here she is, working away with American taxpayers on the potentially “100 times worse” avian flu pandemic.

“Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to foot the bill for animal experiments with foreign adversaries that soup up viruses and can cause pandemics or create bioweapons,” Goodman declared pointedly.

No, they should not.

Nor should they have to foot the bill for millions of dangerous illegal migrants claiming “asylum,” but here we are …

Biden’s America.
