Sanctuary City Finds 10,000+ “Mistakenly Left Out” Ballots

“Mistakenly left out.”

Behold, the latest excuse for the sudden, oftentimes convenient, discovery of thousands of ballots.

Indeed, none other than the good old Sanctuary City of Chicago, “led” by the ironically named Mayor Brandon Johnson, is experiencing a mysterious ballot crisis during a Democrat primary election.

Currently, Eileen O’Neill Burke, who is a former appellate judge, is leading Clayton Harris III by 2,015 votes.

In total, Burke has a reported 259,445 votes, as opposed to Harris’s 257,430.

Now, out of the clear blue sky, the Chicago Board of Elections proclaims that it just happens to have stumbled across 10,000 ballots that somehow weren’t tabulated in the current results.

And, of course, those 10,000 ballots were “vote-by-mail ballots.”

Imagine that.

Chicago Board of Elections Public Information Officer Max Bever, who is about as competent as Chicago Mayor “Brandon,” offered rather pitiable excuses for the sudden discovery of 10,000 ballots in a deeply competitive race.

“’I traded speed for accuracy in reporting out numbers this week as quickly as I could,” Bever babbled.

“I traded speed for accuracy.” Is that so?

What a remarkably bizarre way to approach reporting election results, especially considering the enormous controversy that erupted during the 2020 elections when the media prematurely called the election for Emperor Biden/Obama.

Precisely why did Bever decide to trade speed for accuracy?

One would have hoped that Bever would have a reasonable excuse for being so egregiously reckless. And feckless.

But of course, Bever merely lurched into a bizarre apology that provides no context for why he opted to prematurely report results.

“I truly regret this error on my part and for the confusion that it has caused the voters of Chicago. I will share updated numbers only when they are accurate and verified,” Bever babbled.

Ah. Now Bever is suddenly concerned with accuracy and verification.

Strange that he had such a tremendous shift in perspective in the span of a few days.

“There will be additional results coming in, both large and small, through the next week. We continue to ask for voters’ patience as the process plays out, and by law all the votes are counted,” Bever continued.

Gotta love how bumbling Bever inadvertently gave away the plot with the emphasis on both “large and small” results rolling in through next week.

Exactly how long does it take to collect the ballots for a Democrat primary election in one county? Exactly how many ballots are they expecting to find with their commentary on both large and small results rolling in for the next several days?

The absence of a concrete explanation does not, at all, help with improving trust in the Democrats’ election integrity efforts.

Moreover, if that many ballots truly remain uncounted (lawful ballots, that is), why on earth did bungling Bever decide to report election “results” as if they were remotely accurate, all while knowing that thousands of votes likely remained?

If the Democrats are intent on insisting that they run fair and honest elections, they may want to look very closely in their own closets.

As 10,000 “mistakenly left out” ballots during a tightly contested race is bizarre in the best of circumstances and downright disturbing in some of the worst.

What’s even more telling is the difference in background between the two candidates.

Whereas O’Neill is a former appellate judge with actual experience, Harris is a professor, as well as someone who “has held government posts,” per the not-so-illustrious description by the Daily Mail.

Go figure.

In other words, Harris is another Obama, which is evident from his background, not to mention the fact that the media is clearly gunning for him.

It will be quite interesting to see how the election pans out, following the discovery of all the inexplicably “mistakenly left out” ballots.
