A stunning new report from the GOP reveals that the illegal migrant crisis in America has hit unbelievable new highs in a number of ways, from the total number of illegals residing in the nation to the projected trillions that will be spent on them in the coming years.
According to the report, nearly 30 million illegals reside in America, the vast majority of whom never contribute to the system as much as they take out of it.
“Every day, millions of American taxpayer dollars are spent on costs directly associated with illegal immigration and the unprecedented crisis at the Southwest border sparked by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ policies,” the report notes.
No kidding. That number has also ballooned in recent years, in large part due to woke Democrat mayors giving migrants “free” luxury hotel stays.
“Only a small fraction is ever recouped from the taxes paid by illegal aliens, with the rest falling on the shoulders of American citizens and lawful residents,” the report continued.
Ain’t that the truth. Considering that most illegals never even obtain social security numbers, it is clear they pay zero taxes.
Some illegals even make 1 percent level incomes through illicit drug dealing, especially in the de facto sanctuary state of California.
“This report reveals in painstaking detail the dollar costs facing the American people every day that this chaos continues, both in small towns on the border and in big cities like New York,” Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green remarked painfully.
No kidding.
In fact, the report notes that the illegal migrant crisis will cost $451 billion per year.
That means well over a trillion dollars in just three years.
President Zelensky is liable to become quite jealous of illegal migrants, given his perpetual dissatisfaction with the massive aid he’s received for well over eighteen months.
On top of that, Biden is requesting additional billions from Congress for “processing” illegals, which means releasing even more of them into the nation.
Dr. Robert Trenschel, who serves as chief executive officer of Yuma Regional Medical Hospital in Arizona, noted that illegal costs are enormous in part due to the number of diseases they tend to bring into the nation.
“Migrants often require three times the amount of human resources to resolve their cases and provide them with a safe discharge … Some migrants come to us with minor ailments but many of them come in with significant disease. We have had migrant patients on dialysis, cardiac catheterization and in need of heart surgery. Many are very sick. They have long-term complications of chronic disease that have not been cared for,” Trenschel noted.
It is truly tragic that healthcare conditions remain deplorable in several nations. It’s also truly tragic that Western nations routinely provide multiple millions in aid per year to many nations, yet they do not request any accountability.
Thus, millions are redirected to corrupt government officials, and healthcare systems and other vital services remain in shambles.
That said, the United States simply cannot afford to be the hospital for the planet, especially when nefarious foreign actors are undoubtedly having terrorists slip across the border alongside true refugees.
Sadly, other illegal migrants have negative intentions as well, including the “anchor babies” Trump has long since warned about.
According to Yuma County Supervisor Jonathan Lines, numerous women routinely approach the border with the intention of having “anchor babies,” or babies on American soil to grant their children automatic US citizenship.
“We have seen women approaching the border in labor, I’ve witnessed that multiple times, to the point where our emergency room and our maternity ward was overrun … I had several people tell me that they had to travel to San Diego or to Phoenix to deliver their baby or to have regular surgery that had been scheduled that had been put off,” Lines remarked, further underscoring how Biden’s illegal migration scam will cost the nation trillions.
One can only hope that the GOP smashes the election in 2024, ensuring hope for finally regaining border security.
