Recent statistics indicate that California is more unlivable than ever.
Not only is the cost of living a joke, but the state has also been subsumed by crime ever since the introduction of various ill-fated policies, notably “sanctuary cities” and “defund police.”
Alas, it’s a real shame Californians didn’t save themselves from Governor Gruesome when they had a chance.
Either that, or the Democrat Party in California had a grand old time with their usual tricks during the gubernatorial recall election that occurred during the pandemic lockdowns.
California Governor Gavin Newsom, who recently took a preening trip to China, had been challenged by longtime conservative radio host Larry Elder, who clearly would have been a much better alternative for the ailing state.
Elder, who recently withdrew from the presidential race, has readily endorsed former President Donald Trump for president in 2024, clearly recognizing that the Republicans definitely need to coalesce around a top candidate more effectively than they did in the House Speaker debacle.
In addition, Elder also delivered some rather biting advice that Democrats never deliver, if only because the advice would empower the very communities Democrats seek to keep down.
“Throughout my campaign, I have been steadfast in my belief that the biggest issues facing our nation are the crisis of fatherlessness, the dangerous lie that America is systemically racist, the need for an amendment to the constitution to set federal spending to a fixed percentage of the GDP – otherwise government gets bigger whether Republicans or Democrats are in charge, and the need to remove the Soros-backed DAs across the country who refuse to enforce the law,” Elder began.
Reason #1001 the Democrats went out of their way to attack Elder – He advocated a reduction of government, otherwise known as the Dems’ bread and butter.
And he also took direct aim at BLM’s absurd antics with regards to their advocacy of fatherless homes, linking familial breakdown directly to societal breakdown.
“The breakdown of the family structure and the absence of positive father figures in the lives of many children have far-reaching consequences for our society, including the crime wave we are currently seeing in America today … I hope that my campaign has helped shine a light on these critical issues and sparked important conversations about how we can solve them,” Elder continued.
Indeed.
One can only hope that Trump bears in mind Elder for a top position as well, assuming he makes it through the obstacle course of court appearances the Democrats have attacked him with.
And Elder, being Elder, sees right through those attacks, which is exactly why he had zero qualms about endorsing Trump for president.
“I am proud to announce my endorsement of Donald Trump for President of the United States. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing conservative, America-first principles and policies that have benefited our great nation … We must unite behind Donald Trump to beat Joe Biden and fight back against Biden’s unprecedented election interference and the left’s destruction of America,” Elder proclaimed.
Indeed, we must.
Amazingly, when Elder was running against Newsom for governor, the media became almost as deranged over Elder as it did over Trump … despite Elder himself being black.
Just to get a sense of how sick the media was then, at least the media in Lost Angeles, California, consider the following “story” run during Elder’s candidacy.
“Larry Elder is the Black face of white supremacy. You’ve been warned,” the Los Angeles Times ominously proclaimed.
“The Black face of white supremacy.”
Gotta love how the Los Angeles Times capitalizes “Black” while not capitalizing “white” as well, which was obviously deliberate.
Apparently, Elder’s calls for family unity are akin to “white supremacy” in whacko Dem world.
