Fauci Enjoys Red Carpet Treatment

Looks like Dr. Anthony Fauci is continuing to reap the benefits of the COVID pandemic, namely through enjoying a host of rich, taxpayer-funded benefits in spite of his ostensible “retirement” from the government.

Senator Rand Paul, who has long put Fauci on the spot with pointed, uncomfortable questions, has put the supposedly former health official in the spotlight again, this time over his alleged “retirement” from the government in 2022.

After all, Fauci may be “retired,” but some of his numerous benefits don’t appear to have retired with him.

Recently, Paul sent an inquiry to the Department of Health and Human Services, specifically with regards to the “taxpayer-funded benefits” Fauci continues receiving, especially as it does not always appear as though retirement “is in fact the case” with the public health official.

After all, Fauci apparently still receives “round-the-clock” security personnel, funded by taxpayers, which is a rather lavish retirement benefit, to put it mildly.

On top of that, Fauci also enjoys limousine services and other retirement benefits far out of the reach of the vast majority of Americans, further emphasizing the lifestyles of the elites versus the lifestyles of those who fund them through their taxes.

“This raises questions about Dr. Fauci’s current employment status and whether he is still receiving certain taxpayer-funded benefits associated with active public service, such as legal counsel and protective services,” Paul noted.

Seriously. Especially when such protecting services are funded by U.S. marshals, which Paul also noted.

“We asked HHS early in the summer. We asked, ‘is he still working, and does he have this limo and does he have a driver and does he have a security detail?’ HHS actually came back to us and said they haven’t been paying for it since January. But then we discovered that Fox did a Freedom of Information Act and a judge forced them to say that, well, while HHS wasn’t directly funding it, the U.S. Marshals were funding it …

Can you imagine? We asked the government, ‘Are you funding his limo and his driver and his security detail?’ And they say, ‘Oh, we’re not doing it; somebody else is doing it and then we’re reimbursing them,’” Paul continued in disbelief.

Alas, Senator Paul, Americans Unfortuantely can “imagine” Fauci receiving loads of freebies for perpetuating big-time lies about the pandemic, not to mention masks and every other “mandatory” command the government imposed upon the people.

Must be nice to profit so handsomely from effectively lying for China while battling Trump, thereby accomplishing two objectives of the Biden regime before it even came into power.

Even after Biden came into power, Fauci continued to defer in favor of his past position, namely by being vague about China while simultaneously insisting that the United States hadn’t funded the deadly virus that emerged, in all likelihood, from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“I do not have an accounting of what the Chinese may have done, and I am fully in favor of any further investigation of what went on in China. However, I will repeat again — the NIH and NIAID categorically has not funded gain-of-function research to be conducted in the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” Fauci baldly proclaimed in 2021.

Considering the White House recently announced that it would stop funding the Wuhan Institute, raising questions as to why it was ever funded by American taxpayers in the first place, one can only imagine how many other deceitful little skeletons lie in Fauci’s closet.
