Governor Abbott Smacks Down Soros With Savvy New Bill

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has repeatedly proven himself to be one of the most adept governors in the nation, with each and every action illustrating care and concern for Texans.

From his migrant busing strategy to his defense of the police, Abbott has routinely put law-abiding, tax-paying Americans first, becoming quite savvy in garnering favorable media attention when doing so.

And now he’s taking aim at one of the most virulent influences of all: ultra-leftist, ultra-globalist billionaire George Soros.

Soros, who clearly detests liberty and freedom, has “invested” $40M in ultra-left district attorneys across the United States.

One of the more notorious cases includes DA Buta Biberaj in Loudon County, Virginia, who brought a grand total of 8 percent of cases to trial. Needless to say, such unimpressive statistics have hardly deterred criminal activity.

Soros “invested” $659,000 in that one.

Little wonder that Abbott is taking the nightmare that is Soros head on, as he proclaimed on Twiter.

“A new law I signed will help reign in rogue district attorneys. Those who want to work in Texas law enforcement must uphold the laws and protect Texans. If not, they will be held accountable,” Abbott tweeted.

The new law, H.B. No. 17, expands the definition of “official misconduct,” given how crafty Soros and his ilk may be at circumventing the official rules regarding misconduct.

Furthermore, the law also empowers the residents of Texas to strike back against Soros-backed or Soros-minded District Attorneys who refuse to prosecute particular crimes for largely nefarious reasons.

Numerous social media users responded to Abbott, with the ultra-leftists repeating their mind-numbing babble while Abbott supporters demonstrated just as much savviness as their governor.

“Translation: leniency for the right people and swift retribution for the ‘others,’” one leftist commentator sneered.

Talk about tone deaf, considering that Soros-backed attorneys deliberately let illegals, “the right people” in Soros’s eyes, off the hook while deliberately targeting American taxpayers.

“Yes. That’s what the bill is supposed to prevent,” one Abbott supporter drawled in response, to the amusement of individuals who actually have a clue.

Another whiner went all out, claiming that “the cities” cannot stand Abbott, as if “the cities” are the only ones who matter.

“By all means don’t let highly trained professionals do their damn job, why don’t you just let them send you a form and you decided each case from your wheelchair … Not a day goes by that you don’t try and destroy Texas.  The cities can’t stand your ass, so you do everything you can to keep the rural areas red and the blue areas from voting,” a whining commenter declared.

Given the state of blue policies these days, one can only hope they “keep from voting.”

“Activist DA’s who abuse their authority are not professional, they’re criminals and should be treated as such,” another savvy conservative replied.

If only the savvy conservatives dominated public commentary more than under-educated, over-emotional leftist lieutenants of the Biden regime.
