President Donald Trump spoke out this week, asking a very important question: Why was the Department of Justice—run by Biden’s people—investigating Turning Point USA in the first place? What was the crime? Their real “crime” seems to be that they supported conservative ideas and opposed Joe Biden’s radical agenda.
This is not how our government is supposed to work. In a free country, the government should never go after people just because they disagree. That is something you’d expect in a dictatorship, not the United States of America.
The special counsel Jack Smith, who was appointed by Biden’s former Attorney General Merrick Garland, has already gone after President Trump. Now we find out that his team was also looking into Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA. This is the same Jack Smith who charged Trump over documents and January 6th, using weak legal claims and stretching the law to fit a political goal.
President Trump is right to call them out. He said they tried to force Charlie and others out of business. That’s a serious accusation, but sadly, it lines up with what we’ve seen from the Biden-era Justice Department. They used the power of the federal government to try to silence political opponents. That’s not justice. That’s tyranny.
Vice President JD Vance also made a strong point. He said that if the Biden administration had spent more time tracking violent left-wing groups instead of targeting peaceful conservatives, Charlie Kirk might still be alive. That’s a bold statement, but one worth thinking about. While the FBI was busy going after Turning Point USA, they weren’t paying attention to the growing threats coming from the far-left. Groups like ANTIFA have been allowed to operate freely for years, often engaging in violence with little to no punishment.
President Trump brought clarity to this issue by officially designating ANTIFA as a terrorist organization. That’s a long-overdue step. These are not peaceful protestors. They are organized, often violent, and they use fear to push their political views. Any group that uses violence against Americans for political reasons should be treated as a serious threat.
This moment shows us why elections matter. When we allow people like Joe Biden and Merrick Garland to control the Department of Justice, it becomes a weapon against the people. Instead of blind justice, we get political revenge. Instead of equal treatment under the law, we get one set of rules for the left, and another for everyone else.
