If one wants to know what more than one politician is really about, then one should look no further than the politicians that openly rejoice in people exhibiting violence against one another.
In particular racially charged violence, it would appear.
According to a troubling report from Fox News, Cincinnati City Councilwoman Victoria Parks is apparently delighted by the brawl that unfolded in her city.
Despite the fact someone literally could have been killed … and despite the fact that a huge mob ganged up on two white individuals. One of whom received a concussion from the violence.
“The beatings occurred on the corner of Fourth and Elm Street in Cincinnati’s downtown business district in the early morning hours on Saturday. Video that has been shared widely online shows a group of people savagely assaulting two others during a confrontation, with a woman being knocked out cold in the street,” Fox News detailed.
And what was the response of Parks to the “woman being knocked out cold?”
Rather heinous, to put it mildly.
“They begged for that beat down! I am grateful for the whole story!” Parks shrieked on Facebook.
As Parks is in a position of authority, her public delight over “that beat down” is highly disturbing.
If that is “leading by example,” then Cincinnati – and other cities with likeminded representatives – are clearly doomed.
Little wonder that more than one prominent figure is calling for the resignation of Parks.
For instance, Fox News notes that Ohio’s 39th District State Representative Phil Plummer has openly called for the disturbed councilwoman’s resignation.
“Cincinnati Councilwoman Victoria Parks must resign immediately! Defending violent criminals who viciously beat innocent people is disgusting. Her words “They begged for that beat down!” are outrageous. Prosecutors must charge the attackers with a hate crime. We must protect our streets!” Plummer asserted on X.
Frankly, Parks should have resigned long ago, especially considering her crowning “achievement” as a councilwoman.
Specifically, Parks made waves in the last few years by detailing what she believes to be the greatest threat to public safety: racism.
“[Parks] led the charge in passing Racism as a Public Health Crisis, in Hamilton County,” her official webpage states.
How helpful. What is about Democrats and their absolute delight in division? Apparently violent division, no less.
Ironically, of course, Parks herself is quite guilty facilitating the ongoing tension and division between different groups of people … especially when she publicly praises the “beat down” of a woman by heinous thugs.
“It’s unconscionable that an elected official would be celebrating violence in the very city she was voted to serve,” Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police president Ken Kober grimly remarked, as reported by the New York Post.
Without a doubt.
