Obama Blasts “Outrageous” Trump Presidency In Scathing New Podcast

Barack Obama is arguably one of the most involved former presidents in various political affairs.

Unlike former President George W. Bush, former President Bill Clinton, and various other presidents in modern history, Obama made headlines for staying within Washington D.C. after he left office.

That’s right: Rather than retire in his home state and partake in the periodic speaking gig, Obama opted to remain within the notorious swamp … a move that caught the attention of more than one critic at the time.

Naturally, Obama had a readymade reason for the extended stay in the nation’s capital.

“Transferring someone in the middle of high school – tough,” Obama remarked, in reference to Sasha, one of his children.

Fair enough point … though one could also indicate that eight years of Obama’s presidency would also be “tough” to endure.

More than one

And now that it is 2025, it would appear that Obama is still all too eager to weigh in on the various happenings in Washington, D.C.

And, rather unsurprisingly, a substantial portion of his commentary centers on – you guessed it – none other than President Donald Trump.

In light of Tulsi Gabbard’s recent commentaries on the “Russiagate” fiasco from 2016 Obama has certainly come out swinging, full of commentary regarding the “outrageous” Trump administration.

In a nutshell, Gabbard argued that the Obama administration effectively orchestrated the entire “Russiagate” saga in 2016

As detailed by Fox News, Obama has dismissed Gabbard’s claims regarding the machinations of his administration as effectively “outrageous” in a scathing statement.

“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response. But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one,” Obama fumed.

Is that so? By all means, please explain the “outrageous” nature of the claims.

“These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction. Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes,” Obama continued.

Interesting. Has it ever occurred to the former president that any “widely accepted conclusion” can be overturned with the introduction of new evidence?

After all, such introductions of new evidence persuade jurors to change their minds all the time, thereby shifting presumed “guilty” verdicts to “innocent” and vice versa.

Similarly, “cold cases” have been reopened upon introduction of new, valid evidence.

“These findings were affirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio,” Obama added in annoyance.

Right. And perhaps Rubio has altered his own views in light of Gabbard’s revelations, though he has yet to publicly disclose such a shift in position at the time of this writing.

“These findings were affirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio,” Obama added in annoyance.

On her part, Gabbard coolly replied that she would issue additional documents to support her statements.

“We will be releasing further documents tomorrow that will refute that statement,” Gabbard briskly remarked to Newsmax.

While Obama has blasted the Trump administration as “outrageous” with its “bizarre allegations,” it should also be noted that the former president has not been shy about blasting his political colleagues as well.

Quite recently, Obama ordered his own party to “toughen up,” a rather hilarious headline to emerge in light of the party’s internecine approaches to policy.

Frankly, if the Democrats united over a single economic policy the way they appear to have united over the Jeffrey Epstein saga, they might actually gain traction amongst the voters who they have continuously lost in droves for close to ten years.

But that would require diversity of thinking.
