The Kardashians have left quite the horrific stain on American culture in more ways than one, to put it mildly.
And one of the more horrific ways includes the degree to which their associates apparently cannot keep their mouths shut regarding politics.
As recently reported by the media, Bad Bunny, who is a so-called “superstar” for Generation Z, is apparently quite opposed to the raids undertaken by ICE.
So opposed that he is more than willing to make a public spectacle of his displeasure, which just occurred in Puerto Rico mere days ago.
Is it any wonder that Puerto Rico is apparently a hotbed of secessionist activity at this point in time?
According to a report from WLRN, it would appear that the wayward island is apparently intent on separating itself from the United States.
“In the past, whenever the U.S. island territory of Puerto Rico held a referendum on its status, the independence option was a perennial also-ran, about as popular as day-old mofongo. That’s changing,” WLRN declared.
In other words, secessionist sentiment has become more pronounced as of late.
Which should surprise exactly no one.
“In the last non-binding plebiscite in November, the independence and ‘free association’ independence choices picked up more than 40% of the vote,” WLRN continued.
In other words, more and more Puerto Ricans are falling under the spell of Bad Bunny, best known as a Kardashian associate. Got it.
What is it with Dems and all their bizarre celebrity “supporters?”
Hilariously, WLRN even credited Bad Bunny directly for stoking the flames of apparent sedition.
“Statehood won a majority, but making [Puerto Rico] … a sovereign country appears to be gaining momentum these days – thanks in no small part to support from Boricua (Puerto Rican) reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny and his new, protest-infused album ‘DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS,’” WLRN added.
WLRN also raged about the “decrepit electricity grid” that Puerto Rico has apparently suffered due to its reliance on the United States, all while conveniently ignoring the degree to which corruption has debilitated the island.
“But Puerto Ricans, while listening to Bad Bunny’s edgy new tracks, have now watched the first two months of Trump’s second coming in the White House,” WLRN mused.
Yup. And they have clearly been brainwashed against Trump and ICE alike, courtesy of Bad Bunny.
“The erratic, hateful and dishonest way he’s betrayed close allies like Mexico and Canada on the trade and diplomatic fronts. His gunboat-diplomacy threats to mug Panama and seize the Panama Canal,” WRLN continued.
Alas, “dishonest” and “erratic,” not to mention “hateful,” tend to dominate a broad swathe of political sentiment today.
“His callous cancellation of deportation protection for Venezuelan and Haitian migrants facing brutal and disastrous dictatorships back in their home countries,” WLRN concluded.
Right.
The problem is that more than one migrant has a bad habit of joining violent criminal gangs … thereby creating the exact same environment that they claimed to be escaping from.
Which leads one to wonder how said individuals can enter the United States for purposes of seeking so-called “asylum.”
