Looks like Bruce Springsteen should have reconsidered his ill-advised rant against President Donald Trump during his recent concert tour in Europe.
Especially as Springsteen, alongside many other celebrities, may well have engaged in a bit of political corruption themselves.
Specifically in terms of the $1B Comrade Kamala managed to blow through in a grand total of two months.
That would be a burn rate of well over $100M per week.
However, any situations involving bribery can easily – and rapidly – escalate into major costs.
And those costs can come with rather inconvenient receipts, or evidence that proves wrongdoing.
As reported by The Hill, Trump is not playing around when it comes to the possibility of Harris paying out various overexposed celebrities for their public “support” at her ailing campaigns.
In a scathing post on Truth Social, Trump immediately launched into the possibility of celebrity bribery, unsurprisingly starting with Springsteen.
“HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT? WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS? ISN’T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION?” Trump demanded.
Well, yes it is.
But the ultra-woke aren’t exactly renowned for their respect of traditional law and order.
“WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? …AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO???”
Seriously. They were amongst the more prominent faces at Kamala’s crazed rallies.
“I am going to call for a major investigation into this matter. Candidates aren’t allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did, under the guise of paying for entertainment,” Trump added.
Fair point.
Though in reality, celebrities have long been de facto mouthpieces for the Democrats.
Not surprising, considering many are high school dropouts with scant to no real-life skills.
They are indeed the types of “useful idiots” upon which totalitarian systems depend.
Trump also blasted the “broken system” that allows such blatant corruption in the first place.
“In addition, this was a very expensive and desperate effort to artificially build up her sparse crowds. IT’S NOT LEGAL! For these unpatriotic ‘entertainers,’ this was just a CORRUPT & UNLAWFUL way to capitalize on a broken system. Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!” Trump roared.
Ironically, the celebrity that doth protested too much was none other than Oprah herself, who insisted she didn’t receive “a dime” from Kamala.
“I was not paid a dime. My time and energy was my way of supporting the campaign,” Oprah insisted.
Perhaps not Oprah personally, though other entities and individuals associated with Oprah certainly appear to have profited.
As noted by USA Today, one of Oprah’s companies received $1M.
Naturally, Oprah had a ready explanation for that $1M.
“The people who worked on that production needed to be paid. And were. End of story,” Oprah added even more insistently.
Right.
Perhaps Oprah should steer clear of political commentary if she is so concerned about allegations of wrongdoing … though the main reason she became so wealthy in the first place was, in part, due to liberal politics.
Guess she will be paying her dues indefinitely, given her obscene level of wealth …
