“They cannot come for us all.”
So declared (or threatened?) AOC with regards to the so-called “oligarchy” that she claims to be fighting against.
Unfortuantely, AOC herself appears to be firmly ensconced within it, given her freshly minted multimillion dollar lifestyle.
Moreover, according to a report from the Daily Mail, it would appear that AOC may be lurching from a multimillionaire lifestyle to a multibillionaire lifestyle, especially if she manages to nab the presidential nomination for 2028.
“Though it is early, AOC is the second most likely candidate to become the Democrat’s 2028 presidential nominee, according to prediction market Kalshi,” the Daily Mail reported.
Hilariously, the “first most likely” is apparently Governor Gruesome of California … best known for his dictatorship tendencies during COVID and largely questionable response to the wildfires.
Naturally, however, like many politicians, Democrats aim to deflect, deflect, deflect above all.
Which would explain AOC’s bizarre claims regarding the supposed arrest of Congressional members.
“DHS is allegedly looking into arresting members of Congress who were showing up for their legal and constitutional obligation to conduct oversight if anyone’s breaking the law in this situation, it’s not members of Congress, it’s the Department of Homeland Security, it’s people like Tom Holman and Sec. Kristi Noem,” AOC raged.
Tellingly, AOC declined to identify which specific members of Congress were being targeted.
Instead, she relied on her standard hyperbole and fear mongering.
“You lay a finger on someone … we are going to have a problem,” AOC ranted.
Is that so?
One can only hope that AOC eventually has a “problem” with her absurdly pretentious travel … to her “Fight Oligarchy” rallies, no less.
As reported by the New York Post, AOC apparently flew first class to at least one of her rallies, a rather odd choice considering her supposed opposition to elites.
“Nothing says, ‘Power to the people’ like ignoring voters looking to say hello and reclining in first class while tweeting about income inequality,” one incredulous flier remarked.
“AOC is fighting the system one first-class mimosa at a time,” another passenger added.
Reportedly, AOC “did not respond to friendly comments once she sat down.”
Approximately two weeks later, the New York Post published another report revealing that AOC had further upgraded her transportation preferences.
“For socialists, they’re sure a couple of high flyers! Far-left New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was spotted exiting a private jet with her comrade in arms, Sen. Bernie Sanders, after shuttling between stops for a campaign dedicated to denouncing the wealthy,” the New York Post chortled.
The same report noted that AOC and Sanders opted for a Bombardier Challenger 604, which costs up to $15,000 per hour to charter.
A convenient video from Fox News confirmed the champagne socialist duo’s exit from the private aircraft before they proceeded to rant about “oligarchy” to the people who they apparently won’t even deign to share an aircraft with.
Indeed, rather than flying first class on the same plane with the people she claims to be fighting for, AOC has now decided to just take private jets instead.
That’s one way to “solve” the optics problem of being photographed in first class … except that private jets are a tad more costly, to put it mildly, than a first class ticket on virtually any flight.
Needless to say, the “message” from AOC and Sanders appears a tad insincere when they require a private jet to deliver it.
But hey, by all means, Ms. AOC, continue going on and on about “the problem” in Washington D.C.
