When the Trump administration declared its intentions to drain the swamp, it was not entirely clear just how deep a long overdue deep cleaning would go.
The emergence of DOGE certainly illustrated a willingness to go fairly deep, if not uncomfortably deep, for more than one entity.
And while DOGE may have initially received significant fanfare and attention, it is clear that other entities and individuals are working furiously behind the scenes to gain insight into exactly how the government has been operating for the past few decades.
And, as it would turn out, it seems that even some librarians may be considered suspect.
An exclusive report from the Daily Mail reveals that the pro-Trump organizations have been a huge source of support for evaluating the current individuals and agencies within the government.
Especially in terms of said individuals and agencies’ leftist leanings.
And, as a result of evaluating the staunch political beliefs of more than one librarian, one conservative nonprofit group in particular has called the Trump administration’s attention to a few questionable librarians.
“A conservative nonprofit is now targeting top officials in the Library of Congress, as President Donald Trump continues to search for ‘deep-state’ officials in the federal government … The American Accountability Foundation is launching a campaign to highlight activities of Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden and Director of U.S. Copyright Office Shira Perlmutter, accusing them of acting as biased left-wing activists,” the Daily Mail detailed.
And it would seem that Ms. Hayden is of particular interest, especially given her background.
“A former chief librarian of the Chicago Public Library, Hayden worked for Encoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore when she was nominated to the Library of Congress by President Barack Obama in 2016,” Daily Mail detailed.
Baltimore … otherwise known as a Democrat stronghold.
Though it would appear that Hayden is associated with the biggest Democrat stronghold of all – none other than Obama himself.
“The effort by conservative activists demonstrates their desire to eliminate partisans in all sections of government, even employees in positions that are not explicitly political.
Hayden is a registered Democrat and donated extensively to Obama’s campaigns and has an extensive history of donating to Democrats,” the Daily Mail declared.
Well then.
Is it any surprise whatsoever that Obama would be sure to include the most deeply committed political activists in any position possible?
After all, he clearly loaded up several district courts with activist judges.
Now, it would appear that he’s filled some libraries as well.
Talk about leaving no stone unturned.
Which is precisely why Tom Jones, who serves as the president of the American Accountability Foundation, has underscored the importance of targeting virtually all agencies with even a tangential relationship to the government.
“The President and his team have done an admirable and long-needed job cleaning out deep state liberals from the federal government. It is time they show Carla Hayden and Shira Perlmutter the door and return an America First agenda to the nation’s intellectual property regulation,” Jones declared.
Without a doubt.
In the present day, intellectual property is the foundation of a nation, upon which the United States increasingly depends.
