“There is a clear divide between those who embrace socialism and antisemitic, backwards ways of thinking.”
So declared a veteran political observer, whose remarks are even more on point when considering one of the most radical candidates to date in history.
Predictably, said candidate is running for the mayorship of New York, which has become a veritable hotbed of antisemitic protests.
Per a report from the New York Post, New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, the son of the Muslim son of filmmaker Mira Nair, is apparently “more radical than the radical left.”
Which makes him a fitting candidate to run for the mayorship of New York City.
“He is in a category all by himself. I’ve never seen someone so far to the left. He’s anti-Israel, he’s all up in the protests and violence. This is not how a mayoral candidate behaves,” the veteran political observer remarks.
You could say that again. As Mamdani is apparently a native of Uganda with a fixation for communism – not to mention antisemitism – it is clear that the sanctuary city is not going to be lurching towards sanity any time soon.
Especially with another bought and paid for progressive running for a powerful political position.
Whose bought and paid for position is all the more clear when considering he was a total unknown until recently.
“Despite being a virtual unknown until recently, Mamdani, 33, a Democratic Assembly member and New York City mayoral candidate, is second only to the disgraced but still powerful ex-governor Andrew Cuomo in raising campaign contributions for the race,” the New York Post detailed.
Not to mention raising attention to his campaign through openly flighting with border czar Tom Homan … over daring to enforce the border.
“How many more New Yorkers will you detain? How many more New Yorkers without charge? Do you believe in the First Amendment, Tom Homan?” Mamdani shouted at Homan.
Right. Because the First Amendment totally applies to non-US citizens who egregiously violate the nation’s laws in order to enter in the first place.
In addition to his troubling stance on illegal migrants, Momdani has had a longstanding troubling stance on the Jewish population, period.
“The Palestinian challenge is to persuade the Jewish population and the world … the longtime security of a Jewish homeland in historic Palestine requires the dismantling of the Jewish state … Jews can have a homeland in historic Palestine, but not a state,” Mamdani ranted in 2014.
So, in other words, a top Democrat candidate for the mayorship over one of the nation’s largest Jewish centers is also calling for the effective destruction of the Jewish state.
Sounds about right, especially in conjunction with his other twisted messages.
“Other points on the party’s platform include defunding the police, allowing transgender prisoners to be housed in facilities matching their chosen gender identities, and granting unconditional amnesty for all immigrants,” the New York Post detailed.
Well, those sound like really sound platform strategies. Kind of like the same ones that led the Dems to lose, quite epically, in 2024.
Yet the remarkably dangerous strategies persist, regardless.
“Mamdani is dangerous because he’s someone who seems to be fairly charismatic and effectively engages with people. New Yorkers care about improving legitimate options to improve services and support, true, but anyone who has the backing of the far left and DSA is backward,” the veteran political observer concluded.
Will Momdani succeed over Cuomo or any other candidate?
That remains to be seen, but the fact that he has risen so quickly in the first place illustrates the degree to which antisemitic sentiment continues to reign supreme across the city.
