Well, well, well.
Looks like top Democrat leader Chuck Schumer made a very wise decision to not fight back against the GOP in more ways than one.
Indeed, Schumer was widely reported to have irked ultra-progressives with his (gasp!) willingness to be slightly more cooperative with Republicans on the budgeting bill.
And, as it turns out, he appears to have enraged ultra-woke MSNBC hosts, given that one of them just very publicly quit the Democrat party over Schumer daring to cooperate with Republicans.
Never mind the likelihood that the cooperation was done through gritted teeth on Schumer’s part … as the ultra-woke allow no other response but total obstinance and rebellion.
And, on special occasions, mass, nationwide riots when they don’t get what they want.
That said, MSNBC “host” Symone Sanders has apparently decided she is no longer a Democrat following another Democrat’s decision to cooperate with Republicans.
And she made it very clear that there is no room for compromise, politically, in her view.
“There’s actually little that the Senate minority leader can say, and the 10 Democrats that voted with the Republicans can say, to appease somebody like me,” Sanders blared, as reported by the Daily Mail.
It’s impossible to appease you, Ms. Sanders? You don’t say.
What else is to be expected from a bought-and-paid-for Democrat propagandist? A blatantly obvious DEI one, at that.
Funny enough, for someone so obsessed with not being appeased, Ms. Sanders had no problem supporting former President Joe Biden – whose middle name may as well have been appeasement – for years.
“I’m about to change my registration to independent, first and foremost,” Sanders blared to reportedly “shocked” panelists.
Now that’s hilarious. Sanders just might want to fact check herself before she boldly declares she is going to register as independent … especially since she should actually register as “no party preference.”
After all, as reported by NPR nearly ten years ago, multiple people still keep mistakenly claiming they are “independent” … when in reality they signed up for the American Independent Party.
“Californian Sherree Worrell wanted to register ‘no party preference,’ but accidentally joined the American Independent Party. She’s not the only voter to be similarly confused,” NPR reported.
Hilariously enough, Worrell also admitted that many celebrities make the same mistake when they are attempting to appear intellectual.
“About a month and a half ago, a news article came out shaming celebrities who claimed to be independents, but were actually members of the American Independent Party. And I thought, oh, I wonder if that’s me, too,” Worrell mused.
That’s amazing. The people obsessed with fact checking don’t even bother to look up any information on a political party that they have suddenly found themselves joining.
And it looks like Ms. Sanders of MSNBC just made the exact same mistake that NPR was warning against close to ten years ago.
Not that she would currently notice, given all the righteous indignation she’s conveying onscreen. Heck, her “shocked” panelists don’t appear to notice, which shows how much of a clue they have.
“I’m p*****,” Sanders continued to rant.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That said, any logical person would have seen that being cooperative was really the only politically viable alternative, as a government shutdown clearly would have been blamed on the Dems.
And, following their dreadful performance at the ballot box this past November, it is fairly clear that the Democrats need all the help they can get, which apparently sensible Democrats like Schumer realize.
Indeed, Schumer realized that a shutdown may well persist for many months, which is precisely why he was ultimately decided to not start yet another legislative war that his party was destined to lose.
“If we go into a shutdown, and I told my caucus this, there’s no off-ramp. The total off-ramp of a shutdown, how you stop a shutdown, is totally determined by the Republican House and Senate, and that is totally determined because they’ve shown complete blind obeisance [to] Trump, DOGE, etc. They could keep us in a shutdown for months and months and months,” Schumer warned.
Naturally, “the Squad” and other pro-Hamas militants masquerading as “representatives” of the American people threw a fit.
And, apparently, ultra-woke “newscasters” or “commentators” on MSNBC – which may well be indistinguishable from one another anyway.
After all, everything at MSNBC appears steeped in Soros-funded Marxism.
Heck, the rather dramatic, deliberately public resignation from the Democrat party may have been strongly encouraged by some nefarious affiliate (or admirer) of Soros.
MSNBC employees appear to do whatever it takes, in other words, to be as dramatic and fear-inspiring as possible.
The network has employed Rachel Maddow for many years in a row, after all, paying her a ghastly sum of money for spreading hate and fear …
Which says quite a bit about what the network’s real values are.
Fortunately for all, the network’s real ratings have also long since sailed off a cliff.
