Looks like the deranged Democrats won’t be giving up their remarkably perverse reading material for young students any time soon.
According to a report from the New York Post, quite a few parents became very angry during a recent meeting with the superintendent and other schoolboard officials for Monroe County.
In the Monroe County auditorium, parents expressed outrage over “The Rainbow Parade,” a book that had apparently been heavily promoted throughout the elementary schools.
That’s right: elementary.
While being present in a high school library would be bad enough, being present in elementary school classrooms is a whole new level of disturbing.
Especially when reviewing a nauseating Amazon description of the book.
“Set at a stormy pride parade, the story follows a child who is free to express their gender identity, celebrating with their father. But when they come across a non-binary child who doesn’t feel comfortable in their own skin, they lend a helping hand and show them that they are seen, accepted, and loved,” the review asserted.
“Show them that they are seen, accepted, and loved?”
Perhaps that is true … as long as they don’t vote for Trump, that is.
“Gentle storytelling and stunning illustrations play on the magical experience of finding one’s community,” the review continued.
Oh, yes. Because “stunning illustrations” of disturbing material, including erotic bondage, are such a great idea for children.
Indeed, the New York Post notes that the book “includes depictions of a naked person shown from behind, furries, and a gay couple outfitted in leather BDSM attire.”
Yikes.
“Perfect for children of all identities, The Rainbow Parade is a must-have addition to any bookshelf,” the review trilled.
And, apparently, perfect for children aged 5 through 11, per the Dem’s bizarre curriculum.
John Feathers, a father at the meeting, was utterly incensed.
“If you think that that’s appropriate for children to see, then there’s something wrong with you. You need to have a mental evaluation. There’s no reason that should be in the schools whatsoever at all,” Feathers roared.
Feathers, like most sensible parents, was also outraged by the visual content of the book … as if the words alone were not bad enough.
“You can see the guy’s butt is clearly out. And then if you go over on this side of the picture, there’s two guys standing in bondage right there,” Feathers fumed.
Superintendent Tasha Potter appeared unmoved.
“We are here at our board meeting, conducting our business,” Potter sniffed, before ending the meeting abruptly a few minutes later.
Real professional.
Truly, it is quite astonishing that the schoolboard apparently thinks such material is fitting for children.
Hopefully, the wide-ranging reforms nationwide will restore sanity to elementary school classrooms, making real education great again.
