While (wannabe) Empress Nancy Pelosi has been rather notorious for her unstoppable quest for power, she appears to have gone a step too far in alienating her longest-term “friends” from Washington D.C.
In fact, Pelosi has apparently been such a thoroughly alienating presence that even she could not spin the mess that she has made over several long-term friendships.
Indeed, mere weeks ago, Jill Biden publicly blasted Pelosi for her “disappointing” behavior after fifty years of friendship.
In political speak, that means that Jill Biden is clearly beyond outraged with Pelosi and highly unlikely to resume their friendship.
In an interview that occurred mere days ago, Pelosi effectively acknowledged that she had been iced out by the Biden family, none of whom apparently contact her for any reason.
As reported by the Daily Mail, this acknowledgment was clear when Pelosi was asked whether or not she might be able to repair her friendship with Jill Biden.
In a “five-word reply,” Pelosi merely stated, “well, I certainly hope so.”
Good luck with that.
When asked if she had been in touch with former President Biden at all, Pelosi flatly replied, “no, I haven’t.”
In other words, Pelosi could spin exactly nothing positive with Biden specifically.
When she did attempt to spin the mess in general, she came across as even more insincere … especially as Pelosi had the gall to claim that her unstoppable quest for power was entirely due to her supposed desire to serve the nation’s children.
“My whole passion about being in politics is for the children,’ Pelosi said. ‘So what is it that we’re doing for the children? I think it would have been important for the children to not have Donald Trump be president of the United States,” Pelosi sniffed.
Of all the ridiculous ways that Pelosi has tried to spin herself before, this method is perhaps the most ridiculous of all.
That’s right: The woman with a nine-figure net worth and a pathological hatred of President Donald Trump is apparently motivated by her care for children.
Right … Because keeping children out of school for years during COVID is such great “care.”
Frankly, it seems like the Biden presidency has achieved the greatest success in terms of exposing how unbelievably phony quite a few long-term politicians can be.
The exposure of that phoniness was especially clear during Comrade Kamala’s attack on Biden during the primaries, when she openly accused him of racism
“Kamala was friends with Beau Biden. She had a relationship, she went to his funeral, and Beau Biden was really an important part of her relationship with Jill Biden. Certainly, she leveraged that to her advantage. And for her to sort of turn on him really personally hurt the president but most of all hurt Jill Biden,” a source detailed at the time.
Ironically, while Jill Biden has long detested Comrade Kamala ever since she threw Biden under a bus on a very public stage, it seems she may now detest Ms. Pelosi even more.
Even Pelosi herself was unable to spin the obvious antipathy that Jill Biden has towards her following the dramatic fallout from Biden dropping out of the race, as admitted in her ill-timed interview.
At this juncture in time, it is safe to say that the Biden family has totally severed its relationship with Pelosi and Comrade Kamala, underscoring the long-term, phony nature of their alliance.
May the massive fallout from the very public end of a 50-year friendship serve as a lesson to future generations about the real costs of the relentless pursuit of power.
