Former President Joe Biden caused quite the ruckus when he pardoned Hunter at the tail end of 2024, but the real ruckus should have been raised earlier this week.
Namely when Biden issued a series of stunning pardons of Republicans, or at least former Republicans, who ostensibly colluded with the Democrats to “get Trump” by any means possible.
As reported by Reuters, Biden took the extraordinary step of pardoning none other than anti-Trump militant Liz Cheney, a rather ghastly move, especially from the perspective of sensible conservatives.
Indeed, Trump referred to Biden’s pardons of Cheney and her ilk as “pardons of people that were very, very guilty of very bad crimes, like the unselect committee of political thugs.”
Cheney perhaps best known for her vested interested in the so-called “War on Terror.”
Which was, in effect, another war based on so-called “intelligence” that turned out to be a complete and total lie.
So, it would be sensible for someone like Cheney to serve in a primo position on the deeply biased J6 Committee.
However, what is interesting is to evaluate who made Cheney so powerful on the committee in the first place: none other than Ms. Nancy Pelosi.
Indeed, Pelosi very publicly appointed Cheney to her role, as reported by CBS News in 2021.
“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced her appointments to the select committee to investigate the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, including GOP Congresswoman Liz Cheney, who was one of only two Republicans to vote in favor of establishing the committee on Wednesday,” CBS noted.
At the time, Pelosi was preening about her so-called concern for “the truth,” despite simultaneously spreading mass disinformation on the Biden administration.
“The next step for us has always been to seek and to find the truth. We want to do so in the most patriotic and nonpartisan way, so the American people have confidence in the results,” Pelosi boomed.
Right.
So “nonpartisan” that Biden had to pardon several individuals who took part in the J6 committee.
So, while Biden pardoned multiple individuals associated with the J6 committee, not to mention an additionalfive of his own family members, he tellingly did not pardon one of the biggest ringleaders of all: Pelosi.
It’s truly quite amazing that Biden was as bold as he was with these preemptive pardons, especially as they all but spell out the guilt each party carried.
While mainstream media has failed to cover Biden’s pardons – though it sure is interested in the pardons of J6 protestors – the pardons were public enough that more than one person can observe who received personal favors from the angry, outgoing president.
Clearly, Biden could clearly care less about damaging the Democrats’ so-called reputation for “integrity” after they forced him out of the presidential race.
While Biden likely would have still lost to Trump, he probably would not have lost as epically as Comrade Kamala, who may well be even more cognitively challenged.
Biden could also clearly care less about the hot water in which Pelosi suddenly finds herself, especially as he knows that Trump has been gunning for Pelosi for a very, very long time.
Heck, her insider trading alone should technically put her in jail, but her weaponization of the judicial system is a special level of corruption only afforded to powerful elitists like Pelosi.
Now that Pelosi has no chance of receiving the same pardon Cheney did, it will be interesting to see what, if anything, unfolds in the next few months regarding an investigation into her nefarious political antics.
Ironically, she is probably hoping that Trump is a lot less aggressive in pursuing her than she absolutely was in pursuing him …
Especially as she appears to have fewer allies now than she did all over seven months ago.
