Well, that escalated quickly.
All of one week of 2025 has passed, and another woke globalist is already throwing in the towel.
And that globalist happens to be the same one who is the “governor” of the “51st state” Trump has called for: Canada.
That’s right: Justin Trudeau, otherwise known as one of the world’s most erstwhile globalists, is apparently set for imminent resignation.
Per the Globe and Mail, which initially reported on the impending resignation, Trudeau may step down within just a couple of days, positioning Canada for political turmoil right at the start of the year.
The soon-to-be former Prime Minister of Canada is apparently set to resign due to his increasingly immense unpopularity, despite the fact he was ironically elected three times.
Then again, at least Trudeau was openly elected three times … allegedly former U.S. President Barack Obama was secretively elected for his “third term” via outgoing incumbent American President Joe Biden.
Nonetheless, Trudeau has long served as a source of immense consternation for anyone who respects traditional values and liberties.
Especially as his administration has worked so valiantly against the conservation of both.
Of course, a broad swathe of the mainstream media has, to the best of its declining abilities, attempted to blame Trump for Trudeau reportedly stepping down.
For instance, an article in Barron’s opens by directly blaming Trump for Trudeau stepping down.
“President-elect Donald Trump’s plans to impose steep tariffs on imports to the U.S. were widely expected to shake-up global trade. They may be about to push their first foreign leader from power … How America’s neighbor to the north copes with the disruption that the trade levies will bring appears to be the chief problem forcing the issue,” Barron’s notes.
Ah. So, in other words, rather than negotiate with Trump, Trudeau decides just to resign entirely. Sounds like a standard snowflake.
That said, the excuse of Trump’s tariff is also rather pitiable, considering that Trump is not yet even in office.
In general, the mainstream news network can blame Trump all it wants, though the reality is that Trudeau reaped what he sowed long ago by steadily stamping out liberty while weakening Canadian prosperity.
Indeed, just a couple of short years ago, Trudeau astonishingly declared a national emergency over individuals who were very justifiably protesting against his outrageous lockdowns during the COVID pandemic.
Indeed, Canada rapidly gained notoriety for deploying law enforcement resources against churches that dared to host appropriate, socially distanced services during times of greater need than ever.
In addition, multiple livelihoods and businesses were irrevocably crushed, all while globalist elites hobnobbed all over the planet to discuss how important travel restrictions and other liberty reductions were for public health purposes.
Little wonder that a “Freedom Convoy” soon broke out against Trudeau’s overzealous governance, which has effectively been rising authoritarianism with a baby face.
Don’t forget Trudeau’s rather casual approach to national security either, as evidenced by the total transformation of the nation’s demographics, coupled with an exorbitantly bloated welfare system.
Yes, it is no wonder whatsoever that Pierre Poilievre, an alleged “conservative firebrand” according to CNN, has rapidly gained the popularity that Trudeau has lost.
“The government of Canada is itself spiraling out of control,” Poilievre crisply remarked.
Perhaps Poilievre will work more effectively with the incoming American administration, especially as Trudeau appears far more suited to taking orders from “Biden” than cooperating with Trump.
