Seems like the libs’ meltdown in 2024 may well be even worse than it was in 2016.
Especially with the asinine claims that Trump and Co. apparently wish to “kill” children.
That’s right: Some far-left commentators are literally making that claim on their deeply disturbing platforms.
Including long-term WaPo columnist Jen Rubin.
During a session on her podcast, “Jen Rubin’s Green Room,” the ultra-woke “journalist” cut straight to the point. A deranged point, to be clear.
“You have to boil it down to nuts and bolts and you have to be pithy. What do I mean by pithy? How about this: Republicans want to kill your kids. It’s actually true,” Rubin ranted.
Ladies and gentleman, behold the height of absolute falsity. With the phrase “it’s actualy true” adding total insult to injury.
Rubin then proceeded to ramble on about additional lies, which are easily disproven … even by mainstream media.
“If you’re going to oppose vaccinations, if you’re going to stop breakthrough medical research, if you’re going to allow minors and all sorts of people to get semiautomatic weapons – which they use to shoot up schools – well then, you are responsible for kids’ health and death,” Rubin ranted.
Oppose vaccinations? What is she on about? Last time anyone checked, it was a Trump policy to put forth Operation Warp Speed … though Rubin conveniently ignores that little fact.
“For people who don’t get political news, who never pick up a newspaper, who never turn on CNN, who never even bother with Fox News, those people really have no idea what’s going on,” Rubin ranted.
Now that’s just comical. Though it’s amusing to see that Rubin apparently counts Fox as a semi-credible outlet.
Rubin also continued to rant nonsensically, losing whatever (tiny) audience she had.
“You don’t have a vaccine because, you’re not getting a child tax credit because … all the good things that are happening at the state level, they have to know why they’re getting those things. Oh, you have a chip manufacturing plant because a Democratic president put that into effect and a Democratic governor went out and solicited bids. And now you have X number of thousands of jobs. It’s that simple,” Rubin raged.
Needless to say, far cooler heads were not impressed.
GOP communications strategist Matt Whitlock was one such sane voice of reson.
“Every once in a while, it’s worth reminding ourselves that the Washington Post pays this woman to share her thoughts with the world,” Whitlock remarked.
Mollie Hemingway, another conservative commentator, was also deeply dismayed.
“The Washington Post should be dismissed as a legitimate or serious publication for willfully platforming this deranged individual for the last decade,” Hemingway remarked sagely.
No surprise there, considering that Hemingway represents The Federalist, a conservative publication that eschews emotional outbursts in favor of objective facts.
Ben Shapiro, who is well known as the The Daily Wire Editor Emeritus, had the most hilarious take of all.
“Meanwhile, Democrats literally set up a mobile abortion clinic outside their national convention,” Shapiro drawled.
