Leave it to moronic DEI employees to further validate President Trump’s longstanding arguments regarding the weaponization of the federal government against him.
That said, starving hurricane victims of desperately needed support, all because of their support for Trump, hits a surprising new low, even for federal government employees.
Per a stunning report from the New York Post, it appears that the federal government is not only going after Trump, but also after anyone who supports Trump.
Most troublingly of all, the attacks on Trump supporters are coming from none other than the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), specifically the Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA).
Indeed, Marn’i Washington, apparently some type of supervisor at FEMA, though that her DEI status made her invincible, considering what she insanely put in writing while directing FEMA personnel as they navigated hurricane-ravaged Florida following Milton’s deadly landfall.
In a “Best Practices” memo, Washington literally ordered FEMA personnel to not provide any assistance to homes that dared to have any sign of support for Trump.
“Avoid homes advertising Trump,” the second bullet point of the memo read, further underscoring how important Washington apparently found this “best practice” to be.
Other “best practices” included the following: “Follow the rules” and “[Do not go] anywhere alone.”
Apparently, one of her “rules” was to not provide absolutely necessary assistance to Trump supporters in the wake of a natural disaster.
And Republicans are the party of hate? Ha!
Even more hilariously, Washington also urged “de-escalation,” as if blatantly politicizing a natural disaster is a great display of such “de-escalation.”
And, rather disturbingly, the FEMA officials did indeed “follow the rules” set by Washington.
“Trump sign no entry per leadership,” one FEMA employee wrote, fully ignoring a home that needed assistance.
And that was hardly the only home.
By FEMA officials ignoring the homes, residents unable to sign up for federal FEMA disaster relief assistance.
Fortunately, since the rather obvious DEI Marn’I Washington put all her idiocy in writing, the federal agency had no choice but to admit that its own supervisors weaponized emergency assistance for political purposes.
A FEMA spokesperson claimed that they were “deeply disturbed by this employee’s actions,” though one can only wonder if they were mainly “disturbed” that the employee was caught.
“FEMA helps all survivors regardless of their political preference or affiliation and we are deeply disturbed by this employee’s actions. While we believe this is an isolated incident, we have taken measures to remove the employee from their role and are investigating the matter to prevent this from happening ever again,” the federal agency declared.
Is that so? Individuals in North Carolina, which was ravaged by Hurricane Helene, may feel a tad differently about that.
“The employee who issued this guidance had no authority and was given no direction to tell teams to avoid these homes, and we are reaching out to the people who may have not been reached as a result of this incident. We are horrified that this took place and therefore have taken extreme actions to correct this situation and have ensured that the matter was addressed at all levels,” FEMA continued.
“No authority,” huh? Seems that she had plenty of authority if that many FEMA employees listened to her.
Naturally, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is livid at the weaponization of government resources against conservative Floridians, and he has launched a prompt investigation into their deeply nefarious activity.
“The blatant weaponization of government by partisan activists in the federal bureaucracy is yet another reason why the Biden-Harris administration is in its final days. At my direction, the Division of Emergency Management is launching an investigation into the federal government’s targeted discrimination of Floridians who support Donald Trump,” DeSantis declared.
Seriously. At least the Dems’ obsession with DEI means that many of them are incompetent enough to put their hateful idiocy in writing.
“New leadership is on the way in DC, and I’m optimistic that these partisan bureaucrats will be fired,” DeSantis added.
About darn time.
Though FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell has already allegedly fired Washington.
“This is a clear violation of FEMA’s core values and principles to help people regardless of their political affiliation … This employee has been terminated and we have referred the matter to the Office of Special Counsel,” Criswell declared.
Frankly, it would be no surprise at all if Washington decides to sue FEMA for “racism,” which is apparently the favorite excuse of corrupt people who have no concept of accountability.
Even more troublingly, one can only wonder how many other hate-filled employees remain at the DHS, and the damage that they could potentially cause conservative Americans before Trump takes office.
