“I am announcing a new policy today that I will support a tax credit for family caregivers who take care of a parent or a loved one. It’s about time that they were recognized, right?”
So declared Trump during his recent, wildly successful rally in Madison Square Garden in none other than New York City.
As New York City is now a rather notorious epicenter for illegal migrants, magnified by the sanctuary city’s pathetic cash handouts and “free” luxury housing in former tourist hotels.
Trump, however, is less concerned with catering to illegal criminals and far more concerned in American family unity, especially in matters of serious illness.
Which is precisely why he promised a tax credit for family caregivers at his rally in New York City, a policy that is clearly designed for Americans.
American families, to be exact, the very unit that Dems appear intent on destroying.
And help for family caregivers is very much needed.
Multiple reports, including a 2023 publication from the AARP, highlight the intense emotional stress endured by caregivers.
“In a post-pandemic nation, the stress of family caregiving has only gotten more complex and the nation’s 48 million adult family caregivers — who are not paid for their labor — must take daily steps to first attend to their own physical, emotional and mental well-being,” AARP detailed.
Moreover, caregivers oftentimes suffer from financial stress in addition to physical and mental stress, compounding their negative quality of life and further inhibiting their ability to care effectively for family members.
Yet they soldier on, and presidents like Trump wish to honor them for their role in promoting family unity.
“They add so much to our country and are never spoken of ever, ever, ever … But they’re going to be spoken of now. Thank you all very much,” Trump asserted.
Absolutely.
That was one of many shining moments at Trump’s recent rally, as he scored hit after hit with the crowds, starting with his opening lines.
“I’m thrilled to be back in the city I love, and thousands of proud, hard-working American patriots here with me, we’re all together, we’ve always been together. And I’d like to begin by asking a very simple question: are you better off now than you were four years ago?” Trump boomed.
At that point, at least 20,000 individuals attending shouted, “No!”
And those 20,000+ individuals, many of whom suffer under the sanctuary city’s despicable policies, are no doubt thrilled to hear that Trump has taken a far more hardline approach to violent illegal criminals than Comrade Kamala ever did.
“I am hereby calling for the death penalty for any migrant that kills an American citizen or a law enforcement officer,” Trump boomed.
Maybe that will make illegals think twice before crossing the border …
Though thousands are no doubt barreling towards the border now, just in case their “Border Czar” fails to secure a “win.”
