George Soros may have succeeded in steamrolling over the FCC in his American radio takeover, though the FCC is now under investigation for its blatant “fast track” of Soros’s whims.
However, Soros has not succeeded in manipulating judges who respect the law.
Which is exactly why a group that has been backed by Soros has been resoundingly defeated in its efforts to undermine the Trump-Vance campaign right before the election.
According to a report from Blaze Media, the Haitian Bridge Alliance (HBA) demanded the arrest top presidential candidate Donald Trump and his running mate Senator JD Vance, after the Republicans declared that Haitian migrants might be responsible for a string of missing pets and wildlife in Springfield, Ohio.
A town they have apparently overtaken by the tens of thousands.
“[Trump and Vance] led an effort to vilify and threaten the Haitian community in Springfield,” the HBA wrote.
Right.
Guerline Jozef, who serves as the executive director of HBA, was even more melodramatic, claiming that Trump and Vance had inflected “devastating harm” through encouraging “racially charged threats.”
Unsurprisingly, the HBA has received funding from none other than Soros in the past, who clearly thrives on the discord caused by mass illegals.
The judges in Ohio, however, were less than impressed by the “case” made by the HBA.
Quite the opposite.
Ruling in favor of Trump and Vance, the judges cited their decision as one based upon “the strong constitutional protections afforded to speech, and political speech in particular.”
“The conclusion of whether the evidence and causation necessary for probable cause exists to commence a prosecution of the alleged offenses is best left in the investigatory hands of the prosecution,” the judges wrote.
In other words, the courts are not just going to arbitrarily harass Trump in Ohio as they clearly have in deeply biased New York.
“The presidential election is less than 35 days away. The issue of immigration is contentious,” the judges added.
Is it ever. And for darn good reason.
“Due to the proximity of the election, and the contentiousness concerning the immigration policies of both candidates, the Court cannot automatically presume the good faith nature of the affidavits,” the judges added.
In other words, the judges are implying that the Soros-backed HBA is not acting in “good faith.”
Love it.
Judge Stephen Schumaker wrote a similarly themed opinion, noting that the HBA had effectively no case.
“The Court acknowledges the difficulties of proving a negative. There is significant difference, however, between stating that there are no verifiable reports that a statement is true and proof and/or probable cause that a statement is false,” Schumaker asserted.
In other words, the HBA is clueless.
“This Judge has tremendous respect for the officials making the above and similar statements but if any of the officials voiced the opinion that the statements at issue were false, those statements are in the form of opinion,” Schumaker remarked smoothly.
Yep. And opinion is protected under the First Amendment.
Trump’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, certainly agrees with the court ruling.
“President Trump is rightfully highlighting the failed immigration system that Kamala Harris has overseen, bringing thousands of illegal immigrants pouring into communities like Springfield and many others across the country. President Trump will secure our border and put an end to the chaos that illegal immigration brings to our communities,” Leavitt asserted.
Indeed, he will.
Moreover, there was clearly an element of truth in Trump’s remarks over the general dangers in Springfield, Ohio now, especially when considering an Ohio sheriff’s troubling assessment of the current state of affairs in the small town.
In a separate report from Blaze Media, Tremont City Chief of Police Chad Duncan noted that it is now impossible to access communications with Springfield.
“We were able to hear them on the radio, and apparently, they have decided to go silent or incognito … so we don’t know what’s going on in the city,” Duncan declared.
How odd that such a development occurred near the HBA’s legal assault against Trump.
“They have encrypted all of the Springfield radios. That includes the police, the fire – a everything. So we have no way of hearing what’s going on with them,” Duncan added, suggesting that local officials were enriching themselves while ignoring the havoc wreaked by illegals.
