Looks like the mainstream media won’t let up on its hate of red states, even in literally life or death matters.
As Florida Governor and Trump ally Ron DeSantis readies the Sunshine State for being assailed by yet another monstrous storm in under a month, Comrade Kamala is spreading fake news via her media lackeys regarding the governor’s supposed “snub” of her.
According to Comrade Kamala, she decided to call DeSantis for no apparent reason before Hurricane Milton, though she curiously felt no such urgency to contact DeSantis at any other time regarding any other storm over the course of her “service” to the nation as vice president.
That inconvenient little fact didn’t stop Harris from ranting and raving, generally making the crisis all about her.
“People are in desperate need of support right now, and playing political games at this moment, in these crisis situations – these are the height of emergency situations – it’s utterly irreconcilable, and it is selfish, and it is about political gamesmanship instead of doing the job that you took an oath to do, which is to put the people first,” Harris raged.
Is she for real? What planet is Comrade Kamala living on?
If anyone is responsible for the ongoing “crisis” nationwide, it’s her.
After all, her illegals may well be the worst looters following the storm … after they already looted FEMA funds.
Of course, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was sure to fuel the flames of discord, perhaps what she does “best” from her pretentious podium.
When she isn’t busy storming away from the podium in a huff after being asked real questions, that is.
“We are doing our part, in the Biden-Harris administration, working – obviously FEMA is work – is on the ground, all hands on deck, whole of government. Robust approach here. And so, again, that’s for Gov. DeSantis to speak to,” Jean-Pierre sniffed.
Uh huh.
Well DeSantis decided to “speak” all right … and flatly deny the disinformation spread by the DEI officials (i.e., Harris and Jean-Pierre) who unfortunately continue to influence public opinion.
“I didn’t know that she had called … I’m not sure who they called. They didn’t call me. Their characterization of it was something that they did. It wasn’t anything that anybody in my office did, in terms of saying it was political,” DeSantis remarked crisply at a rapidly assembled press conference.
Despite DeSantis’s blanket denial of supposedly “snubbing” Comrade Kamala, the mainstream media continued to run wild with misinformation.
Just consider the absurd headlines percolating about cyberspace. Or, more accurately, the absurd headlines spreading rapidly throughout the (largely) Big Tech-controlled Internet.
“Ron DeSantis is refusing to take Harris’ call on Hurricane Helene,” NBC News blared.
“DeSantis reportedly refuses Harris’s calls as Florida braces for new hurricane,” The Guardian announced.
At least The Guardian uses proper grammar (i.e., “Harris’s”) when spreading misinformation, and, to its credit, uses the adverb “reportedly,” suggesting that such reports may not necessarily be true.
One of the most incendiary headlines was from ultra-woke The New Republic, which declared, “Ron DeSantis Snubs Harris’s Hurricane Relief Funds for the Dumbest Reason.”
Ah. Is that so? Would that be the same Harris that implicitly improved at least $1B in FEMA relief funds … for illegals?
Illegals that she allowed in by the multiple millions in the first place.
Who, in their right mind, would want to talk to Harris about anything serious, never mind literal life and death matters?
Especially when Harris, contrary to the delusion in her mind, seems to think she is the de facto president already.
Apparently, all of these headlines originated with DeSantis’s supposed “refusal” to take Harris’s call as Hurricane Milton approaches … a “refusal” that is rather obvious disinformation, per DeSantis himself.
A “refusal” that DeSantis also had to refute in a press conference, as if he did not have much better things to do as a record-breaking hurricane approaches.
DeSantis was also sure to indicate how utterly “delusional” Comrade Kamala was in his scathing remarks.
“And so for Kamala Harris to try to say that my sole focus on the people of Florida is somehow selfish, is delusional … She has no role in this. In fact, she’s been vice president for three and a half years. I’ve dealt with a number of storms under this administration. She has never contributed anything to any of these efforts, and so what I think is selfish is her trying to blunder into this,” DeSantis declared.
Amen!
On top of that, DeSantis expressed clear gratitude to Biden for greenlighting all the necessary help the Sunshine State apparently needs at this point in time.
“We want to use whatever resources are available to be able to help Floridians prepare and respond to this storm. But everything we’ve asked for from President Biden, he has approved, and we do think we’ll get more approvals for some of the individual assistance and the debris removal after landfall,” DeSantis detailed.
Rather humorous to think about, really … in that DeSantis is giving Biden more credit than Comrade Kamala is.
Who would have thought?
Even better, DeSantis was sure to point out that both Trump and Biden have been cooperative amid huge natural disaster … and that Comrade Kamala is the first to actually politicize a natural disaster, in his experience.
“I will say this: I’ve had storms under both President Trump and President Biden, and I’ve worked well with both of them. She’s the first one who’s trying to politicize the storm, and she’s doing that just because of her campaign. She’s trying to get some type of an edge. She knows she’s doing poorly until she’s playing these political games,” DeSantis mused.
Absolutely. Comrade Kamala has exactly nothing to campaign on … aside from virulent division and tribalism.
Rather typical methods of the intellectually, and even more so ethically, bankrupt.
