Gotta love it when a pair of New York City Democrats has a rather public fight.
And that’s exactly what’s unfolding now between none other than ultra-woke Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and the apparently disgraced Eric Adams, who is facing mounting calls to resign.
AOC, who ordinarily defends the right of thugs to rule streets for life via her “defund police” stance apparently thinks it’s appropriate to call for Adams to “resign,” though he technically has yet to be charged with a single crime.
In a rather humorous tweet, Ms. AOC made it rather evident that she is rather nervous about the continued investigations swirling around Mayor Adams.
“I do not see how Mayor Adams can continue governing New York City,” AOC asserted.
Is that so?
Rather ironic, considering many Americans are not sure how AOC can continue on as a representative in Congress, given her rather anti-American stance.
Either that, or AOC is rather nervous that the feds may eventually investigate her.
“The flood of resignations and vacancies are threatening gov function. Nonstop investigations will make it impossible to recruit and retain a qualified administration,” AOC continued.
Ah. Now things are becoming clearer.
Ms. AOC, in other words, appears rather nervous that the investigation into Adams may well extend to other feckless officials in the city.
As AOC was strangely calling for Adams to resign before he was publicly indicted, one does wonder about what she may know, and not know, about what’s really going on within an epicenter of illegal migration.
“For the good of the city, he should resign,” AOC added.
Frankly, that remark is beyond hilarious, considering that AOC herself should have long since left Congress.
In fact, the ultra-woke bartender should have never been in Congress in the first place, as the Soros acolyte clearly has no one’s interests at heart but her own.
On his part, Adams was not impressed by AOC’s calls for him to resign, which was rather evident in a statement he issued.
“For anyone who self-righteously claims people charged with serious crimes should not be in jail to now say that the second Black mayor of New York should resign because of rumors and innuendo – without even a single charge being filed – is the height of hypocrisy,” Adams raged.
Frankly, Adams has a point.
It’s a shame his handling of the migrant crisis, in particular the free cash, has been so darn ghastly.
Because he sure is talking sense when it comes to Ms. AOC.
Adams also continued to indicate his displeasure with AOC in other commentaries.
As reported by Politico, in remarks to a local TV reporter, Adams blasted AOC as a “no-show” who does effectively nothing for her constituents.
“I don’t listen to those comments that come from a, you know, just basically a no-show congresswoman. She’s not doing constituent services in her district,” Adams declared.
“A no-show congresswoman.” Love it.
Definitely AOC in a nutshell.
“I do constituent services every day as the mayor of the city of New York. I don’t know when the last time they saw her in her congressional district,” Adams asserted.
Well, that’s unfortunately debatable.
After all, how does it help “constituents” by handing illegal migrants free cash?
Then again, Adams did publicly blast the Biden-Harris admin for their brazenly open borders, so perhaps that’s the real reason why he’s under perpetual investigation now.
